1 out of 5 eggsP67 FTL

Pros: Good motherboard for about 6 months easy bios.

Cons: Had for about a year and half and almost every few months the pci slot has gone bad. I have rma the mobo 3 times and the last one they sent me was doa and shipping after 3 times gets expensive. The tech support try to say it was video card I used 2 different video cards and still didn't work. I'm done with evga so I bought a asus formula and the bios and software is amazing!!!

4 out of 5 eggsA bit flaky

Pros: It can run 4 hd7970 video cards. I purchased it at a different seller.

Cons: I have a lot of trouble when i run 4x hd7970 video cards 24/7 for bitcoin mining. I had to back it down to 3 cards. Granted running 4 video cards 24/7 at 99% is hard use but I kept the board cool I kept the cards cool. The drop outs were very annoying.

Other Thoughts: Board is big it is also old tech more then 20 months since it came out. I would only recommend it if you get a very good price and if you want 3 video cards.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid board.

Pros: 2 cpu 8 pins, extra pci power available, good bios, great stable board, 3 way sli, great overclocker

Cons: it isnt 4 way sli, cannot adjust pll voltage on the chip down. cannot go lower then 1.8

Other Thoughts: i have had this board running in my rig for over 3 months no issues. specs as follows

2600k @4.6ghz stable daily
3 gtc 580 ultra hydro coppers
2 silverstone ST1500 power suplies
16gb 2x8gb corsair platinum 1866 ram

this board has had my chip as high as 5.34ghz banchmarking, rund 4.6 all day every day stable as can be. temps stay cool. this board got this chip to 4.6 effortlessly. adjusted multi and vcore and it was there. simple as that.

ive gotten 18'100 and some change 3dmarks in 3dmark11 with this board and over 70'ooo in 3dmark vantage with this board. it runs good!

1 out of 5 eggsUsed to be a fan...

Pros: I listed them in my last reveiw.

Cons: I have had to RMA the board 3 times...
The first as stated before was for a memory control error.
The second was DOA on RMA. (I spilled a little thermal paste on the socket on removing the CPU and was charged an additional 75.00., no biggie) turns out the issue was related to the EVGA supercooler having a defective tentioner bolt and it allowed me to over tighten the third board so much that it damaged the PCB. EVGA calls it a complete failure and I need to pay them $199.00 to replace the board... the same board that has had to be replaced 3 times and I havent been able to use since November...
I am a gamer, i belong to a gaming guild, there were 3 of us that purchased these boards all three of us have since had to replace the boards with various other boards due to having to RMA them so many times.

Other Thoughts: I used to praise EVGA's Customer support, but I feel let down with this whole issue. They were polite and helpful on the phone but Paul Rodriguez specifically has been the one to have issues with my RMA. I will not buy EVGA products other than their video cards ever again. I hope their Video cards don't have the same issues as their Motherboards and coolers do... I have owned 5 EVGA video cards, 1 CPU cooler, 1 motherboard (4 separate times...) again, stick with their Video cards, but people may want to avoid their other products. They just don't seem to have the same quality. Back to Asus for motherboards.

Manufacturer Response:

I am sorry to hear of the issue you had with your system. While physical damage is not covered by our warranty we are always here to work with you. If you would like to contact me directly about this my email is

4 out of 5 eggsgood except...

Pros: Good looking board, seems solid. Nice accessories.

Cons: PSU connector orientation. Pointed towards the front of the computer, not in the traditional "up" direction. The Antec Three Hundred case cannot fit this board because of this design. The Antec P180 also doesn't fit. I ended up putting it in a Rosewill Challenger that was to be used for a small server but has been repurposed because of the size of this MB.

Other Thoughts: I see no reason why EVGA fitted the PSU and SATA connectors in this direction other than "style". Being a computer tech for a living I prefer functionality over style. I would not purchase this board again strictly for this reason. Though I do give the Rosewill Challenger case an A++ rating for bang for the buck.

5 out of 5 eggsBest MOBO

Pros: This is by far the best motherboard I have ever dealt with from the build to daily usage. It is roomy, great software, great support, great performance.

Cons: I had an issue plugging in the USB 3.0 extender panel to the back of the case. The pins were not aligned at all and were bent so I couldn't use them. The holes were also not complete on the USB 3.0 cable so that was another issue. Could just be a manufacturer oops, I guess. Other than that I have had great success with this board so far.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good layout. onboard buttons are real nice. LED onboard temp is nice also. angled 24 pin connector is very nice for cable management. onboard audio is sweet on the ears.

Cons: none i can think of.

Other Thoughts: i have been running this board for around 2 months with the following setup. not one issue. benchmarked 59700 on 3dmark vantage and i still have more i can overclock it.

z67ftw mobo
i72600k @4.8ghz on air
2 gtx590's in quad sli
2 corsair force 3 SSD's
16gb vengeance ram
