4 out of 5 eggsgood board

Pros: Performance is same as other z77 stock. layout was cleaner than the msi e53 that died on me, this is it's replacement.

Cons: no front audio header. I use usb audio so doesn't matter
o/c settings may not be the best, but if you are not overclocking I got this board for $99, vs asus is $150

Other Thoughts: not as good as the asus, but if you run stock, it doesn't really matter and build quality is solid.

3 out of 5 eggsHaving the Ram Memory Problem like everyone else...

Pros: -Its very Stylish
-Very clean
-The Debug Led is very handy

Cons: But....
The SATA connectors should be on the edge in order for a cleaner cable management

I had 2 sticks of Avexir Core Led ram and even when it says it support 1600 , it keeps posting the 55 error on the led , had to put my old Kingston 4 GB stick on it.

The Crucial Memory Scan detects it as the EVGA Z77 FTW mobo and not like a Stinger so i have no idea where to search for real ram memory compatibility...

Other Thoughts: I Actually like the DOS kind of interface for the Bios, but yeah there are some serious problems with this one...

1 out of 5 eggsBios is garbage

Pros: CPU socket oriented in the middle of the motherboard.

Cons: Bios settings don't work correctly.
Can't overclock correctly.
Can't set intel turbo modes to work correctly.
Can't use intel speedstep.

Other Thoughts: This board is a waste of money until they actually support it and fix their bios. There are many complaints on their forums and they just ignore them.

If they don't address customer problems on their forums soon I will be getting a refund with newegg and getting the asrock itx,

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsbad BIOS

Pros: Intel LAN
many OC options
Nice hardware

Cons: BIOS needs some fixing.

Other Thoughts: BIOS settings do not save half of the time. I have to go back into BIOS and resave the settings for them to take effect.
Setting Vcore did not change the voltage at all.
setting DIMM voltage did not change the dimm voltage.
XMP profile in my ram did not show up in BIOS.
setting my ram speed did not reult in any change, and all this after "save and exit bios"
loading my bios saved presets did not change anything.
either I got a bad board or EVGA needs to spend more time developing the BIOS.
$200.00 is a lot to pay for all these problems.

Manufacturer Response:

Can you send me a mail at with more details, the results are are seeing are not expected.
