1 out of 5 eggsWORSE THAN JUNK

Pros: NONE!

Cons: I have been jacking with this piece of junk for 2 months now.. 2 motherboard from EVGA (no bent pins) .. Dozens of calls to tech support.. 2 processors and 2 evga powersupplies later, and still nothing.. This is the worst board ever! My 50.00 gigabyte worked perfectly!

Other Thoughts: I want my money back.. All these returns have come at great expense to me!! I am super T-OFF!!!

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,
I am sorry to hear about the issues with your board. I would recommend contacting support at Newegg@evga.com or 888-881-3842 and we will assist.
Regards,

5 out of 5 eggsLovin it

Pros: Great motherboard. Very spacious, and the bios is really user friendly, and makes it easy to do what you need to.

Cons: The only con I can think of is that the driver CD kinda sucked. Everything was out of date. I would advise you guys to download drivers on a CD or external HD, and to avoid using the CD at all.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite pleased

Pros: Highly configurable, stable, visually appealing BIOS. Shipped with 2.04, easy upgrade (inside of OS even) to current version 2.06. Configured in two minutes or less with no prior experience with the BIOS. Two eight-segment LEDs that display POST step in hex, then switch to CPU temperature after POST. On board BIOS reset button (vice removing jumper) and also one at I/O shield. On board power and reset switches that are LED lit. One of them also blinks with HDD activity. Additional board mounted LED lights look great though the window in my Corsair 750D case. Quad channel memory support.

Cons: There is a 4-pin molex connector mounted pointing downward on the bottom left of the motherboard. In the Corsair 750D case it is completely inaccessible; however, I'm not sure of its function because it is not listed in the manual and leaving it disconnected has had no noticeable impact on its operation.

Other Thoughts: A second 8-pin ATX12V connector is present and labeled as "optional". The manual states that it improves overclocking. I still need to explore how to get power to that if I need to in the future; now it's disconnected.
This is my second EVGA board, the first being an LGA1366 model. I'm more pleased than I thought I'd be with this purchase and I recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsHUGE but Beautiful

Pros: Looks awesome with all the Red LED's , Specs are great, runs great with my I7-4930k has a Duel Bios with Selector Switch which would be awesome if it worked (see CON)

Cons: Has a 4Pin Molex power connector for providing additional power to the PCI-E port's that is down facing, meaning if you have a gaming case with a bottom mounted Power Supply, like my Antec 1100, YOU CAN'T USE THIS PORT as the port sits less than 1cm from the top of my Power supply

The Duel Bios, seems the second bios is not pre upgraded to support 4th Gen CPU's, meaning my computer won't even post if I try and select the second Bios. Meaning IT'S USELESS

Other Thoughts: I love the styling it looks great in my case, it runs great with no issues yet other then the Duel Bios which I gave up on.

2 out of 5 eggs2nd motherboard

Pros: Looks great and lots of options on the BIOS to overclock

Cons: I just received the RMA'd board ( I had to pay the shipping) and it has the same issue. This motherboard has serious memory issues. I noticed that their "approved" memory settings for 2400 is incorrect. The RAM needed to be 1.65v and the BIOS made it use 1.5v.

The other issue is that the system will not POST past 67 unless I clear CMOS and lower the RAM to PC1333 instead of PC2400. It will also will never allow me to use all 4 sticks of RAM. It will go to code 67 every time no matter the clock settings on the RAM.

I love the power supply and video card I got from EVGA but I am going to call them and see about getting my money back. I spent $150+ on good quality memory and supposed to be compatible.

Other Thoughts: I wish this motherboard would have worked. Not worth spending weeks troubleshooting and having to rebuild the system a few times

5 out of 5 eggsVery impressed with EVGA mobo

Pros: XL-ATX !
Native support up to 2133 MHz!
Requires 2 Power connectors, and a PCI-E lane buff via molex.
DUAL MARVELL ETHERNET NIC BRIDGED!!
5 PCI EXPRES LANES (1x16,2x16,3x8,4x8)
4 SATA3 2SATA6 RAID 0/1/5/10/JBOD
Triple BIOS!
8 Channel HD Audio + Optical !
EZ Voltage Read Points!
Onboard CPU Temp Monitor! (very handy i can see it from my comp chair)
CLEAR CMOS, POWER, RESET

Cons: Limited by 32GB Ram, but honestly, I don't know if I will even get to that point before next-gen chipset w/ USB3.1 and DDR4 Ram comes out.... I have 16 GB 2133 MHz ram and NO ISSUE!

So barley a con..
I guess no onboard Wi-Fi is a con, but this is an EVGA 1337 overclockers board. Dual NIC!

Other Thoughts: Really happy with this motherboard. Currently running with i7-4930k @ 4.4 GHz with 16GB(2x 8GB) 2133MHz CAS9 RAM, SLI EVGA 660 SC, 256 GB SAMSUNG PRO, CORSAIR HX1200i, 2x 3TB 7200RPM HDD

2 out of 5 eggsRAM issues

Pros: This motherboard is amazing! It has a killer BIOS, easy layouts, LED for troubleshooting, and excellent support.

Cons: No VIDEO when using DIMM2. Was only able to use DIMM1 to be able to post. When in BIOS I changed the memory settings and also flashed the BIOS. When I rebooted I saw it was running at PC2400. Powered it off and put in my 32 GBs of RAM and it would not post. I went back to DIMM1 only and swapped each separate stick of RAM. All sticks booted fine when single. After awhile I was finally able to boot up to 24GBs of RAM when using DIMM1,3, and 4. DIMM2 is bad.

Other Thoughts: This motherboard is a really nice board but I have now have concern that they did not test the memory slots on the QA testing.

4 out of 5 eggsFragile

Pros: lots of features, awesome lights and possible QUAD SLI. Beautiful graphical bios.

Cons: Well its fragile. When I first got it, I had to do a lot of work just to get my mouse and keyboard to berecognized by the usb ports so I could get into the bios. Now, for some really bad news, I got a new case capable of holding 4 videocards, and during the transfer of the motherboard something must have gone wrong. Its now dead and im RMAing the board to EVGA. There support is great and I paid for overnight cross shipping service so I should have a new motherboard within a few days.

Other Thoughts: Im a huge EVGA fan, never had a product fail on me like this from EVGA ever. I Still have my 750i motherboard I bought back in 2008 and it still is running strong. It may have been just a bad board from the start, but ill update my review when my RMA is done.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good board

Pros: Lots of PCIE sockets, so that is a big plus.
Ample room between the processor and RAM slots for bulkier cpu coolers.
Fun and simple BIOS

Cons: Does't make me breakfast

Other Thoughts: Had to use an older video card to set up windows, but a Bios update allowed me to use my 770
