5 out of 5 eggs100 Dollars? Yessssss!!!!

Pros: Saw this for 100 dollars on special and had to scoop it up especially since I had to RMA another board and needed something for my 4790K... Yes the Z87 will work with it... Love this board, love the features and it's got the most in depth bios I've ever seen... Got a pretty high end board at one heck of a steal and I'd have paid more for this...

Cons: Only con is the 6 pin (optional) PCIE power outlet is almost touching my PSU in a mid-ATX board... Not a huge deal, but you need it for bluetooth... Luckily I already had a nice ASUS dongle... No eggs needed to be removed though. I truly am extremely pleased with this board.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Dual BIOS
Good design
Overclocking potential
Good quality of parts

Cons: BIOS update does not work from Windows.
BIOS update is required to support Haswell processors
Manual is too brief.

Other Thoughts: BIOS update was needed to support Haswell correctly. Windows update did not work and I needed to create DOS bootable USB drive.
And manual can be more detailed too.

5 out of 5 eggsPCIe is fine

Pros: The PCIe sockets are just usual ones. Almost all regular boards with 1150 sockets use the same bandwidth. Check out the guy named Tom, his hardware site, for article about Graphics Card Myths, well explained there. You can use two cards easily and use other devices too, as the long slots also can use short devices.

Cons: I don't see any. Just for your info type post.

Other Thoughts: Looks good.

4 out of 5 eggsyay

Pros: None so far. The board has built in RAID controller. I haven't used an independent RAID controller and this is the first time using RAID 0 too with a motherboard. Im going to assume built in controllers on mobo sucks? I don't know cant say anything until I build another computer with the RAID controller separate. Either way RAID 0 works and is good for recording (2 TBs HDD).

Cons: Yeah the Bluetooth you might as well get use to it. Youre always going to be on BIG BROTHER. I know stuff you wont believe and I noticed it on my computer and could never figure out why it kept doing that. Its the built in Bluetooth. Yeah I don't like it either but its on there and Im not going to mess around with it. The Bluetooth feature hasn't been interrupting me anymore on the computer (when I walk away and walk back or near the computer).

Is the PCI Express slots an issue for SLI? Im using SLI with dual 760s and just ordered 970s. Slot 1 is the only slot with PCI-E x16/x8. Slot 2 is just PCI-E x8/x4. Are there motherboards with two PCI-E x16 slots? I never really cared actually as long as they were PCI-E slots for graphics cards.

5 out of 5 eggsA great start for your next build

Pros: - intuitive design
- Attractive aesthetics
- EVGA support and mfg. quality

Cons: - I wouldn't choose this for running SLI. I'm pretty sure it only has 1 16x pci. I've always been of the opinion that 1 high end card is better than two mid ranges, so it didnt really bother me. i knew it just had 1 going in.

Other Thoughts: - EVGAs quality is industry best. I buy EVGA preferentially.

5 out of 5 eggsevga rocks

Pros: simple to get up and running, everything works great. finally got something to start playing my games again.

Cons: doesn't have 2 16x pci-e slots, guess i just got to get 1 bada@@ gpu to work it then LOL

Other Thoughts: i've been with amd since my first build an 800 duron, pencil tricked and all , for all you "old schoolers" you know what i'm talking about. now got to have time to tweek it and see just how bad it can be( after get new gpu)
current specs:

cpu: i7-4770K

mobo: evga Z87 FTW

ram: 8gb g.skill 2133 sniper series

gpu: evga 460 1gb (next upgrade)

os: windows 8.1

4 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: EVGA has always provided me good quality products. This board worked for me from day 1. EVGA does a good job with the bios updates. I have had no problems with the board.

Cons: I have one major problem with the motherboard. EVGA used bait and switch with the number of USB ports available on the board. This board comes with only 1 internal USB 2.0 header and 1 USB 3.0 internal header/connection. If you read the specs and the side of the box, you will be mislead on the number of internal usb connections. This leaves you either buying an additional internal card to place inside your pc for extra usb connections, or you can pass a wire though the back of the case to attach to the external usb connections. Who wants to do that?? SHAME ON YOU EVGA!

Other Thoughts: The new bios is ok. Using a USB mouse doesn't work for me in the bios. I am using the standard keyboard controls. Sometimes you get caught up on the weird back options with certain menus.

4 out of 5 eggsown this. great features. couldn't get it to boot.

Pros: Install on security system datastore platform with .16TB. Had. A Crucial SSD .480GB. .32GB. RAM. INTEL LGA1150 4 80 CPU.
MOTHER BOARD has 2 .NIC. ports which this application requires.
Specs seem suitable but even trying other known good properly rated memory our shop couldn't get beyond the error 55 cannot install memory stage for BIOS testing.
If anyone wants this board with box and contents just get to me here with a comment etc and I'll mail postpaid it to you. Perhaps we are making an obvious mistake but a Google search showed a lot of this for others.
Board and everything is free to someone who can use it or the various connectors included by EVGA.

Cons: All the above.

Other Thoughts: Free to a good home.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Board

Pros: -Design and Layout, bios reset, multi bios switch, onboard display
-build quality
- was able to easily get my 4770k running at 4.2 with 1.2volts and without much heat. I am running a corsair H110 and idle at 28c and prime 95 at 54.
- Picked up my XMP profile perfect on CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 8GB
- BIOS is pretty good and has been very stable
- Pretty happy with EVGA. This is my third gaming build on EVGA MOBO and Vcard. P67 BIOS was buggy as hell but so far this has been good.
- Running EVGA 770 GTX FTW ACR 4GB card. Has been flawless

EVGA support is still excellent and I have always had a good experience whenever I have had an issue.

Cons: Non really. So far so good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat boards

Pros: Seems to be enough room for the sli with what they gave. Other boards have a lot less space.

Cons: Get rid of the Bluetooth. Makes it highly hackable. Either that or include a manual shut off for it on the board. be the best thing done with Bluetooth.

Other Thoughts: over all evga has been a great company unlike asus. This is what I have experienced and not opinion. Had one part that was not right and evga sent it out to me right away. Asus ruined my mother board and it's useless now, supposed to be repaired and got scratched in repair buy asus. Comparatively I will recommend evga over asus hands down every time.
