5 out of 5 eggsGreat MoBo

Pros: A lot of people said this MoBo was rushed to keep up with the competition, however it's proven to be a very solid board with a simple, easy to use bios. Everything works great so far. Onboard Creative sound surprised me, And the NICs are as fast as a Intel PCI-express card running Intel's drivers. Can't complain about the board's performance. Not much flex in the board it's self, very ridged.

Cons: Price. Only one USB 2.0 header as most cases have a front panel with both 2.0 and 3.0. People using some after market cooling require that header for power. Minimal documentation comes with the board, after a google search I realized there is a full manual for this board and there is no link to it from the manual that's shipped with the board, what's up with that?

Other Thoughts: Easiest bios to configure. Solid board when clocking your Haswell to 4.6-4.8GHz underwater. Memory slots are different, only one clip? Really? how often do you swap memory, do we really need this? Spend the money on another USB 2.0 header. Just my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything Asus wasn't able to deliver on Z97

Pros: I'm a Asus fan, always been an Asus motherboard user but on Z97 they weren't able to deliver to meet my needs. PLX chip to get most of my graphics cards as I can through PCI-lanes, The PLX chip on this board is cooled by the massive heatsink while Asus PLX chip have no heatsink making the chip goes higher in temperatures. optional 6 and 8 pins connectors to get more power from my power supply for better overclocking. Really solid components used to make the board and get very stable experience, overclocking and performance. I prefered mSATA over M.2 because mSATA don't draw PCI-Express potential from my graphic cards.

Cons: I prefered the Asus softwares and color scheme.

Other Thoughts: I chose this motherboard over Maximus VII Hero and Maximus VII Formula for performance, stability and hardware features.

4 out of 5 eggsPrice-y

Pros: SOLID. Like... it looks like this thing can take a beating. Can do trip or quad SLI.

Cons: Expensive! Sure, it's EVGA, the board is well made and beautiful and everything works, but honestly it's just not really worth the price UNLESS you're one of THOSE people (like me) who have 3 or more of the same GPU. I got it practically for free from work. If it had to pay for almost $400 to use my 3 GPU's, I wouldn't. Use two GPU's at most and get yourself a decent $120 Asus or MSI.

Other Thoughts: Epic board, not quite worth it IMO unless you REALLY need that trip or quad SLI.

5 out of 5 eggsEpicness...

Pros: Love this bord, great quality you can feel right out if the box. Packaging is awesome, may not say anything about the bord but it says a lot about the company. Solid build, no flex in any of the components. Great tight angle connectors and plenty of nice ports and plugs. Boots quick, BIOS is easy to work with. Overclocks like a champ, 4790k at 4.5ghz, NO problem, doesnt break a sweat. Epicness in a box

Cons: A little (couch cough very cough) pricy, worth the quality though.

Other Thoughts: If you have the money dont search any further, Ive worked with Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and EVGA a lot and I use this in my personal build. Great product.
