5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This works great!!! Ive owed it for more than a year, with no problems at all..running a Phenom II 955..3.2 gzh and 2 gigs of ddr2 1066 and 2 geforce 9800gtx+ vid cards..great to game on..can add more memory if needed..cheap SLI board!!

Cons: none so far!

Other Thoughts: I think people buy these boards to overclock..i dont think they were meant for this purpose..if ya need more power out of your CPU and such..save up a little cash and upgrade!!stupid people burn up good CPU's for a extra 100 mhz!! and your not going to tell any differance!!

1 out of 5 eggsWarning: DOA

Pros: Colorful?

Cons: Received 2 boards that persisted in barely functioning with 3 separate CPU's that were specified compatible. First was DOA; second would very occasionally show basic signs of life (POSTing, for instance), but never came close to bringing up its BIOS or booting into an OS.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I got two bad boards in a row. Stranger things have happened. But even if I did, that may be a sign of a larger problem.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: did a hot swap with my hp pavilion to get some more juice out of the 9800 gt's i got, and it worked brilliantly, didn't even have to reinstall windows.

Cons: none so far---- just wondering if i will get back the rebate

Other Thoughts: board was a little bigger than i was expecting--- missed my cases configurations by about an inch..... but i used an old case i gutted----totally worth it!!

1 out of 5 eggsVery unreliable boards

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I bought two boards for customer builds. The two were the non SLI version but the same northbridge chipset. One died after 4 months. I RMA'd it and they sent me this board. Where do I start. You cannot change your Ram frequency's or timings. It was auto locked at ddr2 800 speeds when there was ddr2 1066 modules installed. Changed the value to manual 1066 CR 2T CL 5 tR 5 tRCD 5 tRAS 15 blue sceen every time. It is locked and cannot be changed. I have never had a problem with any other board but ZOTAC products.

Other Thoughts: Never buy a ZOTAC, they are too new of a company and their products are junk in my opinion.

3 out of 5 eggsGood starter motherboard.

Pros: The motherboard is great for beginner builders, everything is pretty much plug and play in it, you don't even have to mess with the bios to get anything working.

Cons: The socket only goes up to AM2+ which the highest CPU it can support is the Phenom II X4 940 edition, since it's the highest CPU that uses AM2+.

Other Thoughts: Great motherboard for it's price though, works well, however my motherboard's SATA connections 5&6 failed to continue working, but that's not the fault of motherboard, probably bad merchandise that I bought.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board!!!

Pros: Worked Great! Did a hot swap! Meaning didn't re-install windows just swapped out with old motherboard and BAM!, was up and running, no problems. Great board for the money. SLI works great, thanks New Egg!

Cons: Don't forget when running SLI you must connect your monitor's cable to the bottom card. Thru me off at first but remembered a review I read on New Egg about the same thing and worked fine.

Other Thoughts: Running:
AMD Dual Core 5600 (AM2)
2GB RAM
2 ea 8600GTS 256MB in SLI
Windows XP Home Edition

1 out of 5 eggsVery disappointing

Pros: While it worked it was fine. Booted well. Did have a problem getting it to work a dvd burner. Installed 2 and neither worked. Wasn't until it crashed that I realized it was the board.

Cons: Had it almost a year. Then one day the board died. Tested all the other components and it was the board. It wouldn't power up or anything.

Other Thoughts: At the time I purchased it was new and had a great price and some decent reviews. Ordered an ASRock to replace.

2 out of 5 eggsNot comparable in quality

Pros: It works, and if you are not a gamer, it will suffice.

Cons: I can not recall the last time that I had a board with so many problems. At first, I had no issues. Now, almost a year later, I can safely say this is one of the worst motherboards I have used. The Onboard sound dropped out, I have a PCI slot that went bad and the board refuses to use more than two sticks of RAM which prevents me from really having a reason to jump to a 64 OS. When I first tried this board it was fresh and no comments or reviews. Now, after using it a while, I do wish I would have caught others before they bought the board. From SLI to BIOS settings, this motherboard has been the worst that I have attempted to use in my 10+ years of system builds. I am buying an ASUS or MSI as soon as my bonus comes in.

Other Thoughts: For the basic user, the board will work. I play games heavy. the heatsink I use (The orbit 2 I believe its called) contacts the RAM (luckilly they have a heatsink) when I found that I could only use two of the four slots, I moved the two to the outer channel.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: My beast of a Rig Works superb with my dual-core 2.4 Ghz, ATI Radeon 4880, 4 Gbs ddr2 ram. My cool master tower keeps things cool in there. Its runs ALL my games! Empire, Age of Empires, Oblivion, Grid, Crysis, Sim City 4, etc. I have had no problems! I even run Linxus and Windows XP.

Cons: Notta thing!

Other Thoughts: One thought for you guys... if you have an AMD board, get AMD ATI video cards. Much pain u suffer when u split the two up.
