So far So good
This review is from: Zotac A55ITX-B-E Desktop Motherboard - AMD A55 Chipset - Socket FM2
Pros: Booted right up with a A4-5300 Trinity. Has Intel Centrino wireless, has Bluetooth.Win7 pro loaded no problem and was up and running in 45 minutes after opening the box. No smoke or sparks which have been reported on other brands of FM2 mITX boards. This one runs cool. It also has 2 PWM fan headers instead of one like many others.
Cons: No internal USB 3.0 header, Support website has no CPU compatibility list.. 65watt max TDP. The manual states SATA 2, Websites claim SATA 3, AMD Overdrive Shows SATA 3 in sys info. Mine came with bios A262PA05 which does not support Richland APU's, which I was afraid of, so I purchased a trinity to go with it.
Other Thoughts: Neither a Pro or Con for me, but there is very little available in the bios for overclocking. Just Voltage adjustments. I purchased this to replace a E-350 mITX that just couldn't do things I needed it to. Obviously this system uses more power than the E-350 did, But it will play a 1080p, run office and gimp, or watch a youtube video without running at 100% load or locking up ar rebooting.
