5 out of 5 eggsBlack pcb

Pros: The driver for this was initially a pain to find until I remembered that this is basically an adapter for an intel chip. After downloading the intel driver no problems and it looks great inside my case.

Cons: bluetooth functionality is kinda buggy. However I bought this primarily for the black pcb and aesthetic improvement over my last card

3 out of 5 eggsPoor Bluetooth functionality

Pros: The Wifi usually works fairly well, though I have had it cut out a few times.

Cons: The Bluetooth functionality is very poor. It cannot hold a connection to my Bluetooth headset, when all my other Bluetooth devices have no problem doing so. When it disconnects, I have to unpair and re-pair the devices, or in extreme cases reinstall the driver.

Other Thoughts: If you are getting this for the Bluetooth functionality, you may want to look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfect on Linux atleast

Pros: Worked out of the box and with zero setup on Linux (Fedora 20).
Did not have to do even a single thing.

Just plugged it in, booted the system and a zillion WiFi networks showed up. Entered the password for mine and I was online.

For Bluetooth, I did not expect it to work, but I was able to pair a PS4 controller in first try !!!

Experience was not so smooth on Windows 7 though. WiFi worked well but Bluetooth is giving same pains as my previous USB thingy. I guess its a windows issue and not a manufacturer's lack of drivers.

This thing is Godsent compared to USB things.

Cons: Some issues with Windows 7

Other Thoughts: Buy this, its not worth the time to fix the issues with WiFi/Bluetooth USB dongles

3 out of 5 eggsseems ok

Pros: inexpensive. reasonable range. magnetic antenna. good wifi transfer rates. wifi/bluetooth connect to networks/devices quickly and easily.

Cons: the included software/drivers seemed to conflict with the motherboard's LAN/ethernet controller protocol. causing an connection issue when i wished to connect via CAT5e. even after resolution, each restart of computer recreates the scenario, cant figure it out.

Other Thoughts: overall pretty good

4 out of 5 eggs802.11ac??

Pros: Great reception. Picking up a router with 4 bars my old cards barely saw. I'm getting 130 down easy.

Cons: No 802.11ac? I have google fiber and have a router that broadcasts 802.11ac, but i am not finding the ac channel on my list of available networks. It is possible i have not installed it correctly or am missing a driver, will check back later.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PCIe network adapter

Pros: 802.11ac dual band. Range and speeds are good.

The actual network card is an Intel 7260HMW. Better than Intel's iteration of the desktop version (simply added a MiniPCIe to PICe adapter).

MAGNETIC ANTENNA BASE was a huge plus for me, and such a simple addition.

Keyed USB cable.

Cons: Not low profile.
USB cable a little short.

Windows 8.1 caused BSOD with Intel's iteration of the Mini PCIe to PCIe adapter for me.

It may or may not be the wireless card itself, but on a clean OS install I had 0 problems with the Gigabyte adapter or the Intel wireless card.

Other Thoughts: With the exception of not being low profile, an all around better product than Intel's desktop adapter for this network card.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does its job

Pros: It works.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: No dropped signal, fairly competent data transfer rate, and it's not too hideous.

5 out of 5 eggsGood performing wireless card

Pros: + Small internal Footprint
+ Excellent reception
+ Reasonable price
+ WiDi support
+ Bluetooth

Cons: - Antennae wires too short
- USB wire may be to short for some

Other Thoughts: I got this in a bundle with my recent Gigabyte motherboard. I decided to give it a spin in my HTPC which was using a Linksys WUMC710.

My home is 3 floors and about 2400 sq/ft. My Netgear Nighthawk router is on the first floor and has to reach up a floor and across the house to get to the HTPC. At this distance I was getting an average of 21MB/sec on transfers from my server which is a excellent result using the wireless AC band. Connection strength was excellent and I have yet to see any drops or other issues. Bluetooth was only briefly tested, but worked properly with my wife's iphone 4s.

I do have a minor complaint about the wire length for the external antennae. It was too short to thread outside my component case to a better position which potentially would have increased throughput. Also the provided USB cable is fairly short and may be an issue with some motherboards, it did however work fine with my EVGA Z68 SLI Micro.

Overall considering the price ($30-ish) it is a solid wireless card providing good value and performance.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Got this free with a motherboard purchase and it's great. The antenna gives it a fantastic range and speed, I'm maxing out my 802.11n connection @ 130Mbps when previous adapters had trouble getting signal from my router.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsIt will indeed, install.

Pros: Incredible range/sensitivity compared to my $10 Chinese wi-fi card, that I got from a popular online auction site. It get's better range with the antenna completely disconnected. Nice black PCB. Antenna is smaller than it looks.

Cons: The USB header plug is a really tight fit onto the card and board. Made me feel like I was going to break something.

Will not help me find my lost socks...

Other Thoughts: I have no idea what John T. was smoking/drinking the day he installed the card. I put it in the slot, powered up the PC, put the driver disc in, and loaded the software. I had connectivity to three houses in my neighborhood before I plugged in the antenna. It was connected to a Gigabyte mobo, and had a fresh install of Win7.

Haven't tried any bluetooth connections...
