5 out of 5 eggsSleek & Functional

Pros: Works wonders on the cheap 120mm fan thats keeping my cpu cool! I would have paid the exact same price just for the controller alone but it came with 2 fairly large blue cold cathode tubes, I couldn't be happier.

Cons: First thing a did once I opened the box was to check the back of the pcb. There were two locations that looked like some extra solder accidentally connected some adjacent points. So before I attempted to power this on I whipped out the old soldering iron, cleaned up those to spots and the thing powered on no overheating or anything like cheaper ones I've used. Not that big a con if you know what your doing :P

Other Thoughts: I would like to say half of the reviewers for this product are idiots! The sound option for the lights is supposed to make it flicker. If your playing music that goes "unce, unce, unce" then on the "unce" it will light up, or any particular sound the mic picks up. Its a kick *** feature! If you dont like it leave it on, shut them off, or shut the f*** up!!!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great...slowed down my Vantec Tornado without a problem. Comes with Cathode lights which is an added bonus. I have 2 fans running on channel 2 and those have not caused any problems either.

Cons: Not a big deal, but I had to stick one end of the lights under my HDD cage, and it was a very tight fit...I could barely get them out. So I filled down one edge of the triangle ends...fits fine now. Also there's a lot of wires, but that's not to big of a problem either...just ziptie 'em and stick them somewhere out of the way. Also, the cathodes are not blue, they're kind of white/blue...again, not a big deal at all. They're really bright though, and they look great.

Other Thoughts: Great product so far. If you want to slow down fans, get this. I'm really happy so far.

4 out of 5 eggsGood design, mediocre cathodes

Pros: The fan controller and cathode driver is excellent. Comes with adapters to work for both 4 pin and 3 pin fans. Sound activation works flawlessly. Cathodes are a beautiful blue color.

Cons: One of the cold cathode tubes is not nearly as bright as the other. Not worth RMAing, but wish they had both been the same intensity. You can only really tell after they've both been on for a while.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had known about the 3 to 4 pin fan adapters before ordering fans.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: awesome! end of story. comes with adapters so i could finally slow down my two tornados, very inexpensive, comes with two blue-white cathodes, sound reactive is awesome.

Cons: since it's so short, it was kinda hard to install, but it's all good.
lights have triangular caps on the ends which makes mounting them a little bit hard and the two sided tape that comes with it is HORRIBLE, completely separated in about 2 days.

Other Thoughts: get it if you have high CFM fans that you want to quiet down.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product, needs a little work

Pros: Controls fans really well, I like the manual approach more than many of the set-and-forget fan controllers. The Cathode lights are awesome, a must for someone with a relly hot setup, and a case window to show it off. Price was right, and construction is sturdy. I didn't have any mounting problems like others, but I see where they're coming from, the case is a little short.

Cons: My only beef is with the sound controlled component of the cathode tubes. Even on full (which is where most people want them I assume) they flicker constantly, and unless you have a REALLY noisy machine, you can't get the lights constant. They work on full for about a minute after starting the machine, then they automatically go into flicker mode. My PSU is way overrated for my system, so I know it's not a power issue. I really wish my tubes would just stay on.

Other Thoughts: This product is one of the highlights of my build, and I'm always showing it off. I just have to crank really loud music, or turn all of my three tornados on full blast to enjoy the brillant blueness of the tubes. I may be half-deaf, but my system looks good!

2 out of 5 eggsNotA-So-Good

Pros: Included cathode tubes and knob lighting is very pleasing to the eye

Cons: Whoever thought that adding a sound activated switch to a 480v set of lights connected to a highly sensitive (especially to voltage fluxuations) computer should have his/her head examined. Especially since they incorporated it so poorly and the lights decide every few minutes that they want to flicker on and off. This actually started to cause BSODs on my computer presumably from the voltage fluxuations it was causing in my psu (620w corsair). And why oh why did they use a radial knob instead of an on off switch for the lights?

Other Thoughts: Even though they draw very little current, the cathode tubes are very high voltage (~480v). The second time my computer BSOD'd during one of the frequent light shows (lights started flickering on/off on their own even with knob set to full on) I decided that the pretty lights were definately not worth a blown component. Should have known better than to attach a ~$30ish junk piece of equipment to a ~$2000ish computer.

5 out of 5 eggsZzZzzzz

Pros: Awesome, i can now sleep in peace without the vacuum cleaner roar of my computer coming from the corner

Cons: Kinda short and hard to plug in when it is installed, not a problem unless your cables are hidden and tied like mine

Other Thoughts: a master power switch would be sweet that killed the L.E.D.'s on it but hey

5 out of 5 eggsDont Hessitate on this one!

Pros: Controls the Tornado fans greatly! The ability for the controller to this cannot be underestimated and IMHO makes it worth the cost alone, but the light controller and CCL's makes it even better. Nice, inexpensive package.

Cons: If I had to be picky, it would be that the actual body of the controller is short, so you have to install the light and fan hookups before you screw the controller into your case. Otherwise, I love it

Other Thoughts: I don't have the problems others have reported with the tubes becuse my machine runs at sub-artic temps that never gets high. I also love that you can turn the fans and lights off completely. This cannot be underestimated. I haven't found a controller that has worked this well yet with high capacity fans, so I am very thrilled and would recommend to anyone, especially for the low cost!

4 out of 5 eggsFan Controller

Pros: It works great, and lights up the front blue.

Cons: It requires a floppy power plug, and it only works three fans. The length of the light cables arnt as long as i hoped so i had to place them differently then i planed.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you watch what your hooking in power wise. It would suck to share a plug with say your harddrive and when you turn your fan off it takes the hardrive with it lol .
