5 out of 5 eggsJust excellent!

Pros: Has great graphics on every game I've thrown at it.

-FEAR
-DOD:S
-Company of Heroes
-Need for Speed: Most Wanted
-Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfare

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This is as good as it gets for a card that's under $100. Excellent deal and potential!

5 out of 5 eggsDecent little overclocker

Pros: As mentioned below, this is basically an X1600 Pro. The core overclocks nicely from 500mhz stock to above 600mhz w/out grossly excessive heat. The memory is less amenable; expect about a 10% OC.
I'm still playing with my settings, but it's not hard to get a 3DMark03 score around the mid 8000s, and 3DMark05 just shy of 5000, without pushing the card to its limits.

Cons: This card technically has 12 pixel pipelines, but it's designed more like a turbocharged 4pp card. It runs a little warm.

Other Thoughts: Don't expect miracles in this price range. I don't play many FPS, but this card runs Dreamfall: The Longest Journey at a steady 45 fps on highest settings. Works great on Sims 2, also.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat buy for buck

Pros: Quick, stable, works, no issues yet, has crossfire! Not that I would crossfire two of these but it leaves the option open.

Cons: You can't run the s-video out when you are using the dvi output... :-/
Don't know if thats normal, but ohh well. Doesn't really affect me.

Other than that it runs a little hot with the stock cooler... I have really good air flow in my case, and it did start to artifact on me a bit and hit about 80c after 4 hours of CS:Source at close to max settings. No big deal knocked them down a bit took the heat sink off and put some Artic silver 5 on it, put it back on, stays below about 70 now after that and atitool fan settings.

Other Thoughts: Like the card for the price, runs great, don't regret buying it. Give it some room to breath, and give it a fan to help keep it cool if you push video hard. Stock cooling just doesn't quite cut it at least for me.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat card

Pros: Good card, has cross-fire certification, great price for what you get. this was my upgrade from my ATI 9250, so needless to say I am impressed at what i got for such an inexpensive card. gonna get a second one and cross-fire them, cheaper than getting the X1800 with about the same prospected performance.

Cons: still a little slow for my routine, running it on an ECS Extreme Crossfire board with 1 gig corsair X2 gaming RAM and an AMD 3800+ dual core CPU, and i can still manage to bog down the GPU, hence me getting the second one.

Other Thoughts: the guy who said that it doesn't work with windows XP is insane, i run everything through either XP or Linux, and it has no problem either way. sorry dude, apparently you cant install drivers correctly.

1 out of 5 eggsSad

Pros: Works with 32bit xp windows.

Cons: Does not work with 64bit XP windows. All available Catalyst drivers lock up the system and it was used in x-fire certified mobo(ecs PX1). Popped in 7600gs and problem solved.

Other Thoughts: It has been four years since 64 bit os is out and they still can't seem to get it right. :(
