5 out of 5 eggsThe best!

Pros: It has all the XP user needs to play games like Fallout 3. I play it on high with anti-aliasing off. No probs! If you need more than that then you will needs to spend a bit more.

Cons: Can't play Fallout 3 on ultra-high! need $50+ more dollars and have to up (or downgrade) to Vista depending how you look at it . Thank Bill Gates!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Combo Price/Performance

Pros: This is absolutley the best card for the performance in the sub $50.00 price range.

"EXCELENT BUDGET GAMER CARD."

Out of the box driver support sufficient

TV - out worked great component to HD projector I was playing CS:S on a 104" in minutes... wouldn't recommend, it made me sick!

Fan is quiet, not silent.. but not that noticable

(Ram helps this card a lot)

Quake 3 - fair to good, not perfect
World of Warcraft - Smooth at almost all high settings
All Steam Application games - HL2, CS:S, and Older Max everything.

Cons: For the price... Nothing, just drop the card in, and start gaming. XP or Vista without a hitch.

Other Thoughts: When looking at other reviews I have to wonder why people are so stuck on performance without taking into account price. This is a gaming card... for last generation games!

Tested on: (Last Gereation Computer)
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ Socket 939
2BG DDR 3200 Ram
MSI M9 Motherboard

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Graphics Card for Windows 7

Pros: The box was in excellent condition when it was delivered. Its definitely retail, looks like it was just manufactured within weeks ago. I am glad that it doesnt have a plain heatsink/fan like in the pics of it on here. Its the one with the blue alien on it, and I must say that its cool. The 128-bit 512mb DDR2 ram is extremely faster than the who knows what 'bit' 128mb DDR on the FX5500 this card replaced.
It seems to be cool to the touch all the time even during long term gaming.
This card will not only run vista, but also the new Windows 7. Its also alot faster on 7 than vista for some reason.

Cons: Only a few that I have noticed. For some reason the GPU clock speed is 547mhz instead of 600mhz. But that is okay as it works great anyways.
The NTSC/PAL jumper pins being set to PAL instead of NTSC in the USA is a bit odd. I guess I am lucky that I know a bit more about pc's than some people do, cause I just about gave up on my tv until I could get a new HDTV with the DVI inputs on it. Once its set correctly with that one jumper, it works perfectly.
I didnt get the S-video to component out dongle, only one DVI to VGA adapter, and no yellow (RCA) cable.
And of course you cant change the fan speeds due to the 2-pin power connector.

Other Thoughts: This card has to be the fastest one for the price, I have ever used. Star Trek Legacy started with the settings all set to the highest possible. and believe me when I say, it can do it without any issues whatsover. The only other game I have used with it, is Luxor 4 Quest for the Afterlife, what can I say, its alot faster than the FX5200/5500 and 6150LE onboard it replaced. I have also been running Windows 7 with it, and its just superb quality. Before I bought this card, I was reading the reviews and some were saying that the card wouldnt work with a tv. At first it wouldnt work for me, then I was looking at a scanned pic of it and I noticed a jumper on it for a setting of NTSC/PAL, it was set to PAL. Obviously mine is NTSC. I turned off the pc and switched it and the tv came on when I restarted the pc. Overall this card is just amazing!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for a great price.

Cons: Windows Vista Experience rating isnt too high, but I don't much care what Windoze has to say about my hardware.

Other Thoughts: Driver installation was much easier on Ubuntu (about 2 minutes and no restart required) vs. Vista which just nagged me to get Aero working.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card

Pros: Price/Vaule. Driver problems or I would have given a 5.

Cons: Drivers at purchase time. I run Vista Enterprise 64bit and it was a bit of a bear to get this card working correctly. A week or so later new drivers came out that probably fixed this. Part of the Blame most likely goes to MS though.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer so I just needed something as a reasonable price that would drive 2 x 20" LCD at top res while providing clear text and bright colors.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Cheap Upgrade!

Pros: Love the card, very nice upgrade from a pci gforce 5500FX.
Runs Oblivion on medium settings perfectly with 1.50 gigs of ram with almost no studder. Runs World of Warcraft nicely also on high settings, very smooth.
So far I am very glad I bought this card!

Cons: I really cant find any, at least for the price I payed for this card.

Other Thoughts: If u want to play Oblivion, Bioshock, Prey, Quake 4, on medium but dont got more than 50 bucks this is for you.
