5 out of 5 eggsSHARP AQUOS OWNER!??!!!

Pros: I know I may skew the results as I have not received my card yet, but I wanted to put a plea out to the reviewer who said he has a Sharp Aquos 52 and uses this card and gets 1080p. I just want to TRIPLE CHECK that you are REALLY displaying 1080p. I have been KILLING MYSELF with this TV/PC decision and Sharp tech/phone support is horrible. THANKS

Cons: Wish the card was 512MB or an XT model, but no worries if it works with the Sharp TV at 1920x1080p.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC card

Pros: One of the only AGP HDMI cards available. HDCP compliant. Attached it to my Sharp 52" Aquos HDTV and now have borderless beautiful 1080p picture.
Very quiet fan. Included HDMI cable is a nice bonus.

Cons: Virtually nonexistant instructions. SP/DIF cable works but had some stuttering audio initially.
May not fit in very small cases. Mine barely fit in Shuttle X41 case.

Other Thoughts: Drivers/card recognized TV but I had to manually adjust to proper refresh rate. Uses standard ATI catalyst drivers which is nice since there are multiple HDTV settings to select from.

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire HDMI

Pros: So far, great resolution range, picture quality, and performance with my new X22 Gamer Sceptre monitor also purchased from Newegg.

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if Sapphire/ATI supplied a more detailed product manual with detailed card connections, as for the SPDIF connection to the motherboard. If I were a novice computer person I would not been able to figure it out. The information is not on either web site either.

4 out of 5 eggscheapest AGP HDCP available

Pros: There are very few available AGP video cards with HDCP and this is the cheapest. HDMI output is excellent and the included HDMI cable is a nice bonus.

Cons: I don't have any cons, although I've read of some people having HDCP problems. At the very least, it can be a headache to get it working. Personally, I use Catalyst 6.12 with no problems. If you have problems, go to for advice.

Other Thoughts: I use the card with an xbox 360 HD-DVD drive, PowerDVD Ultra and a 30" HDTV (with HDCP) to view HD-DVDs. They look fantastic through the HDMI port, although I can only get 720p to work. May be my HDTV haven't been able to solve it yet.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked as Expected

Pros: Provided HDMI, connected to a 32" HDTV, games play great with high frame rates. I upgraded for TI4600. Good quality. IF you need HDMI and AGP this is an awesome card for you.

Cons: Have to restart computer for HDMI to be the primary display after changing in windows. Otherwise would revert back to DVI.

Other Thoughts: Dont use the Omega ATI drivers that from Jan 2007 while using the hdmi, it may give you some troubles.
