5 out of 5 eggsBest card under $100 bucks

Comments: Ordered one of these a couple weeks ago for a friend. I was worried when I read some of the online reports of this card coming with slow memory, but mine came with Hynix 4ns ram. With stock cooling, and no ram sinks, I was able to clock the card up to 350/350 before seeing a few fuzzys.
Card is running now at 300/300 with ram sinks. Stock speeds on this card are 230 ram, core 250 which I thought was strange (I could have it backwards).

4 out of 5 eggsSuggestion.

Comments: The price of this card is getting more and more attractive now. Darn it, why did I just order that 32MB DDR? I might be able to buy this one soon and o/c just for the fun of it.

5 out of 5 eggsNot the same card?

Comments: It sounds like isn't the same card I bought last November -- mine has green PCB marked (C) 2001 ATI, has an ATI fan, a "Made in China" sticker and 4ns Hynix memory. It's also $51 cheaper than the card I bought last November, so it might be worth taking a chance on, if you don't want to pay more for the retail. I'd recommend a R8500 at this point anyway if you want to go ATI.

2 out of 5 eggsCool on DVD software

Comments: Note that this card is not built by ATI, and while ATI's driver's seem to work adequately, the card does not come with DVD player software. Hardware DVD decoder capability was one reason I chose this card, but without the DVD player, this ability remains untapped.

3 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Be aware that this card was not built by ATI, but by Sapphire
an ATI partner company. The memory is 5.5ns instead of 4ns and
182mhz instead of 230. The engine is still an ATI 7500 running
at 250Mhz. I've always had great success with Newegg but this
card should be in the ATI oem catagory instead of this one. Remember, if the description says powered by ATI.. then it wasen't built by ATI. I just learned that the hard way.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Radeon 7500 video card

Comments: This is one awsome card for the price. This kills my MX400. Big increase on 3D Mark 2001. A+ Recommended for people who don't want to spend $300. bux on other cards.

Comments: Great card. And I'm sure it will be better once mature drivers are out.

Don't even bother with the retail version, there is no difference, except that you will pay 70 dollars more for a shiny box. I bought this card because of its features and the fact that most review sites say this card is faster than the the Geforcr2TI cards, and even faster than the GeForce2 Ultra 458mhz.
