Comments: I purchased this card for my Athlon 64 3200+ build just after Christmas. I am glad that I chose the AIW card as I love watching TV will I work, especially when you can hit the space bar and hit the Head without missing anything. My only problem is that the TV freezes up my system one or twice a week, requiring a hard reset. It also bugs me that when I start Generals the display clicks on and off several times and then minimizes the window. I installed a PCI slot fan to cool the card better as their heat sink/fan is undersized in my oppion. I have made several videos with the Pinnacle software with my DV camera and I have found it to be easy to use and the results have excellent. If I had to do it over, I would buy this card again.
If you want to use this card for video editing get a big fast HD(s) as file size is 15-18 Gb/hour for high quality uncompressed video. Raid 0 raptors in my future.

4 out of 5 eggsgood card but could be better

Comments: very good card, but my only rants are the agp 8x mode is .8v but most mobos least agp voltage is 1.5v so you have to run it in 4x, and it runs kinda hot, like the other guy said if they put a heatsink on it it would be much better.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I bought this video card a little while ago and it has soild performance and it is very reliable execpt for one flaw. When I play generals for about 20 minutes it comes up with a general protection fault error. Tech support said it was because my video card gpu was overheating and I believe them because of the poor heatsink and fan. So I ordered a copper cooler so this should solve the problem.
besides the poor cooling system An excellent product

5 out of 5 eggsATI RADEON 9600PRO Video Card, Powercolor version

Comments: I got the Powercolor version that Newegg does not carry for $134. I think theres no difference between the two. By far the best bang for the buck. I got it for the DVI setup for my Samsung 173p, WOW sharp text and great color display. I guess its loud, but not really, its a small hum. This is my first computer so i'm not sure.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I had been watching the prices on this card for a while. With the free shipping thrown in, Newegg's price of $217 was really tempting. Then they had the after holiday "One day only sale" of $214. Three whole bucks, and guess what. They had me, lol.

Popped the card in and after a bit of adjusting, everything works just the way I expected. Ultimately this card will be part of my entertainment center (works great on my 32 inch TV-including the Tivo/Replay function). But for the time being, it runs my current games better than expected. I've bought bunches of stuff from Newegg and this is my first review. Thanks guys, your the best. Can't personally vouch for the return policy as I've never had to send anything back. But if it's anything like the rest of the service, I'll always buy here first. njrich2

4 out of 5 eggsLoud

Comments: Overall, this a very good card but this puppy is LOUD, especially in a Shuttle box. If they had used a real heat sink they wouldn't have needed a 6000 rpm fan. ATI also needs better quality control. The onboard audio out bracket is mounted upside down. I had to re-wire the cable connection to get it to work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card!

Comments: This AIW card is a bargain for the money. Extra software and the remote control feature give a bang for your buck. First thing to do is to download the latest driver from the ATI site and then install the card. I have no problems using the card running under Win XP Pro on my P4 2.8 system that I custom built with parts from NewEgg. I have yet to use all the features on this video card, but so far it is great. NewEgg rocks!

4 out of 5 eggsN/A

Comments: Great video card. Great value. Three cheers to Newegg for quickly replacing the first one due to screaming fan. Dual monitors and CATV are addicting. Runs great on my Shuttle SB61G2, P4/2.6CGHz, 1G DDRAM, WD Raptor. It was a little buggy at first but new downloads were the cure.
