4 out of 5 eggsGood on entry-level Prescott

Pros: Been running on 3.4 Prescott, 915P Intel board for over a year with no problems, good quality video. Fan-less, cool operation in an otherwise hot system.

Cons: Window re-writes are noticable at times during window moves.

Other Thoughts: Non-gamer use.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as fast as my old one

Comments: I bought this to upgrade to a PCI Express card for my comp. It benches lower than my 9600 did, even when I increase the clock speed. I'm debating whether or not to return it and get something else.

3 out of 5 eggsSapphire didn't rock me

Comments: Wanted a basic PCI express video card, not a gamer. The card installed fine, but the drivers supplied did not work with my ABIT mb. Just got a black screen. Booted into safe vga mode and nuked the drivers. Dowloaded some generic ones from ATI. Installed them and things are better. Just XP SP2 and ABIT AN8 board with Athlon 64 CPU-- nothing fancy-- it shouldn;t have been that much work. Newegg shipped from NJ two days after the rest of the order shipped, what a bummer :(

5 out of 5 eggsJust fine for 2D

Comments: I'm not a gamer and wanted to fill my 16X PCIe slot. For what I do (Photoshop and Video editing) this thing gets 5 stars. For anything more, I doubt it'd suffice. And as usual, newegg kicks unbelievable amounts of a.s.s.

5 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price...

Comments: Recieved this card today and its not all that bad. Bought the refurb version, and was surprised/happy that I recieved the s-video adapter, driver cd and case badge. Works really well, played CS for a long while and it handled well. Got a score of 776 on 3DMark 05, which is not all that great compared to my 6600GT with a score of 2,6xx. But since this is my back-up video card, I say this is not a bad deal. Thanks Newegg and thanks for adding the UPS shipping option!!

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Bang for the Buck

Comments: I bought this card as an 'entry level' PCI Express card for a new P4 2.8GHz system that only had a PCI Express slot and no AGP.

The card installed without a hitch and works great. I've only used it for a few days so far, but it has way exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be more pleased.

I would be willing to pay more for this card if I had to. Don't be turned off by the low price. You're getting much more than you pay for with this one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I bought this card as a minimum price video card, for a new 2.8Gz P4, 1GB(DDR2) ram system (that had only PCI express, and no AGP), and I must say I am impressed. Half-Life 2 runs on maximum settings(except anti-aliasing) without a glitch. For such a modest price, this is a great card.
Didn't have a single problem with it so far.

5 out of 5 eggseasy enough

Comments: I had read in my mobo manual that there may be a problem w/ installing DDR2 memory and a PCI x16 card due to a "memory retention mechanism" but this card installed w/o a hitch and runs smoothly. I was a bit skeptical about PCI Express @ first but i figured if the same 128mb card in regular PCI was about the same price why not. very pleased easy install, quality video, enough said.
