5 out of 5 eggsNice Style, Awesome Screen

Pros: This monitor was a snap to set up. DVI input works like a charm when connected to my Saphire Radeon X800 Pro card. NO DEAD PIXELS (which was what I worried about the most). Overall great design and wide screen format is very cool.

Cons: No height adjustment. Fortunately I don't need it, but if I were any taller it might be a pain... There is a wall mount kit that I didn't get, so that is always an option.

Other Thoughts: These days 8ms is almost too slow. Some of the new screens with 2ms are definately better for gaming, but this screen still works like a champ.

5 out of 5 eggsDriver didn't work

Pros: Performance, price.

Cons: Provided driver would not install.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with card, once I got it working. The provided driver would not install so had to go to ATI site to download latest driver.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the price!

Pros: Great card for the money! I have owned this card approx. 6 months now and I have yet to have a single problem with it. Currently overclocked to 520mhz core, 1100mhz memory, completely stable. Plays EverQuest 2 on Balanced setting 1600x1200 resolution without a problem for 8+ hours, very stable. Going to see if I can get more out of it once I order my GPU waterblock and ramsinks. Has performed well in every game I have played, including Fear and EverQuest2.

Cons: Runs a little hot at 70C under full load (8+ hours of gaming). A nice waterblock and ramsinks should fix this.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a good performer on a budget this is the card for you, especially if you're an overclocker.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: * Purchased a Limited Special Edition of the card which included full VIVO (the normal card only supports Video-out)
* Performs and scores better than an overclocked GeForce 6600GT (approximate rival of this card)
* Will run Oblivion on "Large" textures in 1024x768 without lag (coupled with Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and 1gb PC3200 ram)
* Runs every game I've thrown at it (Half-Life 2, Call of Duty 2, etc.) very well on high settings except for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, which runs smoothly at 800x600 but looks ugly due to lowered texture quality and filtering
* Scores 4856 on 3DMark05 with default settings (1024x768 res, no AA, optimal filtering) with several large programs sitting idle in the background

Cons: * The X800 GTO can be flashed to 16 pipelines, but as far as I know the X800PRO cannot
* Although the hardware is GREAT, doesn't support some software-based features such as HDR lighting

Other Thoughts: Great card, especially for the cheap price I bought it at from a friend. I don't know much about overclocking or monitoring temperature, but nothing's broken yet.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk! Buy something else!

Pros: None! The one that I got was a piece of junk!

Cons: This card locked up roughly every 15 minutes for no reason and seemed to cause random errors. It took over a month to get Sapphire's Tech Support to decide to RMA the card. There are much better cards out there for less money! STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!

Other Thoughts: I cut corners by buying this card because the rest of my new system was extremely high end and now I wish I hadn't made that mistake! After RMA'ing the card I dumped it on eB and then bit the bullet and got a EVGA 7800GT. I know its a big step up, but its worth the money to have a working card that will handle whatever you throw at it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for high resolutions

Pros: Runs well, overclocks 15% on both core and memory. Plays all the new games on high setting on a 1280x1024 resolution.

Cons: Fan could be a little quieter and it does run hotter than some other chipsets. 12 pipes and can not unlock the remaining 4, they are laser-cut. No remedy.

Other Thoughts: Great performer, especially at the price!

5 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: Amazing card, I just upgraded from a radeon 8500 64mb to this and i'm like...WOW. It plays battlefield 2 on maxed settings with zero lag (havent tried in multiplayer yet) and it runs call of duty 2 on extra settings with 20fps...it runs great

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: if ur playing cod2 on high graphics on dx7 you get like 240fps, its amazing

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Support for all of the latest games;
Very fast core/mem for great framerates;
Very Overclockable;
I've run Doom3, BF2, NFSUG2, and FarCry all at the highest settings (1280x1024 and full AA) and I still had playable framerates.

Cons: It only have 12 pipelines.

Other Thoughts: If you're thinking about getting the OEM version of this card (or any graphics card), DONT! The couple of bucks for the retail version is worth it. I got the OEM and it was broken.
