5 out of 5 eggsAnother satisfied customer...

Comments: For its price, I have to say this is the best card out there. I'm playing all my games on High, including HL2, with great FPS. The heat sink also lives up to its reputation of silence. I've hardly heard a peep from it. I'd defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for a good mid. priced card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Choice For Both Powerful and Quiet!

Comments: This card is part of my upgrade package from NewEgg (again, a day early!) and as posted earlier, a quiet system is important to me so the Sapphire X800XL is exactly what I was looking for! Does Dawn of War at max levels, the only thing holding me back is the cpu! (Athlon 64 3700 San Diego). Currently shows a 34C sys temp and 38C idle and will hit 55C under full load (it's in the bottom corner of my case away from any decent airflow, will pick up and try a Vantec Vcool to see if that helps). I'm very happy with both this video card and NewEgg!

5 out of 5 eggsyeah baby!

Comments: Love this thing...its SILENT...like said before any case fans will drown out this thing and it runs very smoothly on everything ive thrown at it since installing it. the heatsink is big so it does take up lots of room but I have no problems in my Lian Li case with my thermaltake big typhoon(120mm) heatsink/fan and it looks great too...goes with my blue theme and its not everyday you see a video card with a massive heatsink on it..if you are looking for great performance for the money go here...

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: When deciding to buy this card over other competing X800XL and 6800GT cards you should ask yourself if PC silence is important to you. If you hate PC fan noise but still care about performance then this card should be at the top of your list. This card is almost completely silent. It is so quiet that if you have any fans in your PC at all you will not hear this card. This card also will not overheat at high resolutions like the passively cooled Gigabyte X800XL.

At 1280x1024 resolution with 4x AA:
Battlefield 2 (high settings) = 55 FPS
Doom 3 (high settings) = 60 FPS
Half-life 2 (high settings) = 70 FPS
World of Warcraft (high settings) = 60 FPS

If you intend to play with anti-aliasing and ansioscopic filtering enabled this card will outperform the noisy Nvidia 6800GT in many games. Currently there is no Nvidia 6800GT option for people who value a quiet computer environment unless you void your warranty with an aftermarket cooler.

PROS:
ALMOST COMPLETELY SILENT
Easily handles all current games on high settings
Good performance value for money
Large fan cools the entire card

CONS:
No dual DVI
Large heatsink takes up 2 slots

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Comments: Let me say, this is an excellent card! Everything about it! Run every game on highest settings and run smooth framerates! It doesnt over heat because of its onboard VF700 Super Silent Zalman fan! I run all games excellent on this card, recently I have played, Half Life 2, Counter Strike Source, and Battlefield 2 Demo on it just incredible. If you are getting a x800 series card get this one!
