5 out of 5 eggsFAST!

Pros: Awesome price/performance ratio, the new 6600gt. WAY outperforms the 9600xt it replaced overclocks like mad, trixx software is very user friendly pulls about the same juice as the afore mentioned 9600xt. RUns WOW at max settings 16xAA 4xANT flawlessly

Cons: when the fan is going full throtle its loud as hell! cant softmod to 16 pipes, but oh well!

Other Thoughts: Put this in a Athlon64 or Penbtium D system and youll spank everything im sure!

4 out of 5 eggswhat can i say?

Pros: Well, this definately outperforms my AGP 68**. It overclocks like crazy. Also, it doesn't need an external power connection, so no wrestling with wires.

Cons: Well, after some research I found out it doesn't support shader model 3. That kinda kills the performance a little. Also, I hope you aren't planning on having a silent PC because this thing SCREAMS. With fan control at 3% operational speed it sounds like a mack truck. I turn the fan off and downclock it at night so I can sleep.

Other Thoughts: For the money this thing delivers some good performance. At the moment it seems to outperform my brother's 68**GS.
If you have a budget and need some speed, this might be up your alley.

5 out of 5 eggsALSOME THIS CARD ROCKS!

Pros: This card rocks. I can play all my games Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Half Life 2, Doom 3, MOHPA all in Max mode with no glitches. This card can handily any game. Doesn’t get too hot with the huge fan either. Great price for it. Awesome look with that alien dude on it.

Cons: Takes two slots up so make sure you have room or you screwed. The fan is really loud when you first put it in but I use the fan control to customize the fan level then it gets a little softer but you can drown it out with your game sound.

Other Thoughts: Nothing

4 out of 5 eggsNice card overall

Pros: Plays latest games fine on med/high resoulution, Excellent Overclocker. Nice IQ

Cons: The fan is very annoying, Even at idle it is annoying. More than likely end up replacing heatsink/fan

Other Thoughts: Gave it 4 stars would have given it 5 stars if the fan wasn't such a nuisance.

5 out of 5 eggscan't complain

Pros: -extremely fast...probably the fastest card in this price range
-nice layout...it looks good
-massive cooler and automatic fan control
-made to OC!

Cons: -LOUD when working hard, easily the loudest out of the 9 fans in my case
-PCB is pretty big, it hangs out almost 2 inches from the end of the slot so make sure you have room for it. On an A8N-SLI it will just clear the memory slots and doesn't leave room to open the tabs for banks 1 and 2.

Other Thoughts: I am impressed with this card. It would be a good deal at a much higher price. The fan is loud but that is to be expected, and with the auto controller, it is only loud when needed. I must have been unlucky because the memory on my card will only OC to 550 but I didn't take off points because this card still rocks at stock. I did manage to get the core from the stock 400 up to a massive 550 with 0 artifacts! With a 3700 San Diego at 2530 and 1 gig of corsair XMS I hit 24974 on 3dMark '01 and 5569 on 3dMark '05 and the 3700 still has room for more.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT BUY

Pros: This was the first video card I have ever bought. I was going to buy the Sapphire X700 Pro, but I decided to spend the extra money and get this one. I am pretty new at the computer modding world, but I have a pretty good understanding now. I have mine OCed Core @ 521 mhz and Memory @ 602 mhz. It runs BF2 with res. 1280X1024@75hz, with all settings on high, and Anti-aliasing 2X without any probs. few glitches if any, and I think thats my hard drive not running fast enough. I am very pleased with this card. Especially for the fact that I dont even need the extra power from the PSU. This card does not require the 6 pin power connector.

Cons: Not really any!

Other Thoughts: The louder the better! The fan is loud, but that just tells me its working. I have another 120mm fan that just screams.
