4 out of 5 eggsPeople

Pros: Very Good card. Dont listen to the complaints, most are more specific, this card works wonderfully. Play BF2, Hitman BM, EAW, NFS Most Wanted - runs great.
SM3.0
Awesome in Crossfire

Cons: 128-bit, Says 12 pipes, tray tools says 4 - not true, its actually somewhere inbetween - very unique and efficient architecture. Some games run maxed out at high res, some dont - Thats why i went with 4 and not 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these for my crossfire system. Really great pair. A lot of complaints about heat issues, havnet had a problem. Case has great airflow, like cases should. yes, you will get higher fps with x800s, but without the eyecandy.

Overall - Great card, great price, get two

4 out of 5 eggsenjoyable gaming reasonable price

Pros: Able to play all the games currently out with high settings @ 1280 x 1024 resolution.
AVIVO encoding almost worth that card itself.

Cons: about 1/3 the power of a x1900xt

Other Thoughts: use it as a physics card next year

4 out of 5 eggsGood GPU, But get the XT

Pros: This is a pretty good video card. You can overclock core to 600 MHz pretty easily (mine maxes at 615). Don't be an idiot like me and forget about the X1600 XT! For only $20-$30 more you can get a X1600 that outperforms this by a LOT. My X1600 Pro gets 75 fps (vsync on) in HL2 on 1024x768 w/ max settings. In episode one tho, HDR stresses this thing out getting about 30's.

Cons: The memory really doesn't like overclocking... Only got a 20mhz increase on mine, so 810ish MHz. Get the X1600 XT instead which runs at 580-600 MHz core and 1400 MHz Mem.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and get the X1600 XT instead! You will not be disappointed! Athough if you must get the Pro, It is a good card as well! Was an excellent upgrade from my old 8x AGP Radeon 9250

4 out of 5 eggsGood low end card

Pros: great upgrade from my old 9600, now i can play games at resolution higher than 800 by 600. best bang for your buck u can really find a better card for under 100 buck, a most buy for some one who wants to do some gaming but doesn't have the money for higher end graphics card, over clocked to 591/846

Cons: not as much horse power as i expected, if your thinking about some serious gaming i would go for something better

Other Thoughts: cpu: 4ghz celeron
GPU: x1600pro
RAM: 1 GB generic
HDD: 80 GB WD
DVD buner

all for under 400 bucks, new egg is really the only place to go for all your computer parts

4 out of 5 eggsvery pleased

Pros: easy to install, the drivers made overclocking easy. I installed it into a dell 8400 and haven't had problems.

Cons: the noise level is more than I wanted, but for the price I can live with it.

Other Thoughts: After reading about the dell problems I kept a close eye on the performance and found that it works and works well.

5 out of 5 eggsI guess i have better luck

Pros: I didnt know what to expect when it came since some people said they was having problems, butI went for it because of the deal that was going on. I couldnt past that up and took my chance.

So far it been running great no problems what so every, I have it in my other computer which has a MSI K8N Neo -F so those with those mobos that looking at this card. yes it works with the mobo.

Cons: The only con that i can think of is it being 128bit memory bus and GDDR2. but that can be over looked if you need a budget card with HDR+AA support.

1 out of 5 eggsThis one didn't work out for me.

Pros: The price was right for what I thought was a great budget gaming card.

Cons: Had the same problem many others here have already mentioned. Computer hangs/freezes when trying to run 3D applications. My experience with Sapphire Tech support was terrible.

Other Thoughts: A visit to Sapphire's troubleshooting forum revealed that there is some sort of incompatibility with this card and certain nforce4 platform motherboards, particularly Asus. If you have an Asus nforce4 do yourself a favor and forget about this one and move on to your next option ASAP. Sapphire's tech support was not helpful at all. They basically told me to try the latest catalyst driver (duh) and then closed the ticket. I found a 'hotfix' driver for the x1600 freezing problem through a sticky post in the Sapphire toubleshooting forum but that didn't work out either. Don't have the time or desire to continue looking for a solution...moving on.
