5 out of 5 eggsAmazingly Great

Pros: This card packs a punch, runs Half-Life 2 and other Source games at around 30-100 FPS, BF2 30-90FPS.
Runs HDR well on CSS and DoDS at 30-60FPS.
And as far as Im concerned, this card is not loud at all after what people have been saying. This card is worth the price, I highly recommend it. It never gets hot on my PC, maybe because I have an effective cooling system =/. Other than that, Newegg delievered this baby within 2 days. Great service!

Cons: None that was critical to the card's functionality.

Other Thoughts: This card will not let you down.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the $

Pros: Plays games at excellent frames. Running WOW at highest settings at 50-60fps and BF2 at 60-65fps on high settings. Fan on it is pretty quiet.

Cons: Ran a little hot, according to the temp on catalyst control center. Bought a really cheap pci fan and it cooled it down to about 62-63 celsius when playing games.

Other Thoughts: 3.2 p4 processor, 2gigs of ram, plays games so much better than my x600 did.

5 out of 5 eggsLower temps!

Pros: Very inexpensive for a mid-range card.

Cons: High temps and fan noise. When i tried to OC my temps caused my PC to freeze. I tend to play longer than I thought I would so I need my temps to stay low.

Other Thoughts: I just cleaned this baby of all the goop they call thermal paste and reapplied some Artic5. My temps dropped between 5-8 degrees. Was at about 55-58..much lower now. Although I have to be honest I can get pretty tied to a game so I need longer cooling ability. I'll be buying a Zalman VF900 to placate my temp worries.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Fantastic, everything looks sharp, easy install, far better than others have

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: People i have seen, not necessarily on this site, but on other video card reviews have stated that this is close to the X1600 Pro and far below the 7600GT, not even close to that, this is far from true, i find that is incredibly close to it, i have a friend very close to my system specs but with that vid card and there is little or no difference, and with the price difference id take this card any day of the week and twice on sunday over the NVIDIA.

5 out of 5 eggsknowledge

Pros: First off is a great card and more below

Cons: runs hot

Other Thoughts: Normal for me is idle57c and load 88c at 91c it starts to freeze game. If you have this problem get a vf700 zalmann cooler for it will drop to 37c idle and 47c load. If you bought the card from new egg and needed a rma why go to saphir not only did u pay 15.00 but u could of went to my account link and rma back to the egg for just shipping and have it back in a week. Hope this answers a few questions i saw and beside this is for ratings not questions..lol

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs suprisingly cool in my box. I was anticipating needing to get additional fans or a whole new heatsync, but the set that comes on the card seems sufficient. It's a large step up from my old 9600XT AGP and for $xxx, you can't go wrong with this card.

Cons: It's no 7950GT or X1900XTX, but for a modest gamer, it is more than enough. If you are planning on maximizing eye candy on anything you can get your hands on, expect to spend more than $113.

Other Thoughts: Most next gen FPS games cannot be maxed out with this card, but the gard does very well on large scale scenery like you would find in mmos or RTS. I run Sims 2 on max, as well as any mmo I put in.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid range

Pros: Very reliable, stable performance for over 7 months now. I'm able to play most current, demanding games at full detail with 1024 X 768 resolution without any stutter. This card has latest architecture before the rollout of Direct X 10. I'm running it using only a 300 watt PS. Easy installation. GDDR3 memory. Best choice from ATI for solid mid range performance which doesn't require a high end PC or power supply. Good for the person who likes to play the latest games on a budget and has a PCI-E slot in a moderate PC.

Cons: The 7600 GT is much faster, but I needed to go with ATI due to my ATI 200 Express MB. Didn't want to risk it.
I spent quite a bit more 7 months ago. It's a steal right now.

Other Thoughts: Performs better than a 7600 GS by a good margin, but quite a bit lower than a 7600 GT. Ends up right in between.
