4 out of 5 eggsA great GPU

Pros: Stunning graphics rendering capabiltities, compared to NVIDIA equivalents in this price range. Runs BF2 at max settings flawlessly, minus anti-aliasing. Did the same for WoW, until they released the 1.11 patch that took my framerate from 50 to 25. In any case, I would challenge you to find a higher quality card in this price range.

Cons: It's debatable as to whether the extra 256mb of memory makes a big difference, but it helps you sleep better at night knowing the evil obsolescence demon is lurking behind your case.

Other Thoughts: I got the retail version of this card using the "ILOVEATI" coupon that dropped the price down to xxx. Some people say this card is loud, but forget those guys; yes, it is loud at POST and then immediately drops down to the same noise level as your case fan and never (not even when running BF2 at max settings) goes back to that level, unless of course you're overclocking it. I almost held off on this because it was allegedly a hair dryer, and for about 3 seconds in POST, it is - that's it though. Great card!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Plays everything at max (Oblivion, Tom raider: legend, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, BF2), 2 free games, runs cool and quiet!

Cons: kind of big, not really a con.

Other Thoughts: Increible performance for the price. GET IT NOW

5 out of 5 eggsCouldnt have asked for anything more

Pros: Wicked fast for single card considering price/performance standpoint. Runs Fear with med/max settings on my 24" dell monitor around 30fps which isnt too shabby

Cons: nothing, lil noise from the cooler. Solved that with a zalman gpu cooler.

Other Thoughts: probably not a good idea to purchase if your interested in using crossfire in the future due to the lack of crossfire master cards and the overwhelming price of the ones that ARE available.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat VGA

Pros: Very good VGA card for the money you paying compare to lastest ATI Radeon cards & Nvida Cards no big difference in clock and mem speed for the money you have to spend for ATI 1900 or Nvidia 7900.

Cons: What I noticed is as other people complained abot corupted Boot screen. There is a isue with ther BIOS, bios need to bee updated to clear the problem

Other Thoughts: Dissapointed I bought mine wendsday comming wikkend price droped 30$

5 out of 5 eggsNIIIIICE

Pros: Great performance, Runs every game I have very smooth and effortlessly.

Cons: Huge, this card has to be nearly a footlong. Completely blocks out Cold cathode, but worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsDefinitely worth it!

Pros: Fast and easy to overclock. I was comparing the X1900XT and this and for about $200 less you can get this card with only a couple differences. Actually there are not too many games out there that utilize the full power of the X1900XT yet. Easy to install and setup.

Cons: Very big and very heavy and not very quiet. I have a big case so size isn't an issue, and since I liquid cooled it with an Evercool (highly recommended) the temps are low (> 60 celcius) and not only is it quiet, it is a lot lighter without that huge heat sink and fan thing that comes attached to it.

Other Thoughts: Save your money and get this X1800XT. If you really want the best, wait until the new 1Gb cards are out for a while and the technology gets to the point where it can be used with confidence.

5 out of 5 eggsWow.

Pros: This card was very easy to install and worked first time. This card's quality is AMAZING! I ran everything on it except Tomb Raider Legends w/ FSAA. I have oc'd it to 740 core, 800 mem. USE ATI TOOL TO OC!! IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM!

Cons: Some games wont allow the next gen settings to be turned on. Hopefully this gets fixed very soon. The card is HUGE! it barely fits.

Other Thoughts: I would recomend this to any gfx card enthusiast. This card has had no problems. People say that it is loud.. I can barely hear it b/c of my 2 vantec tornadoes in my PC.

5 out of 5 eggsX1800XT

Pros: Wow, not enough to say. I was skeptical when people were saying that I would be able to max EVERYTHING out, AA/AF included with the games still being playable. My system is P4 3.2GHz 1GB DDR2@533 X1800XT 512MB. I upgraded from an X800SE 128MB. Everything seems to have gone to a whole new level.

Cons: I have been having problems playing farcry, as some of the first level disappears. Aquamark 3 wont finish, and it is hard to OC this thing. The fan is Loud during heavy load, but manages the temp. very well

Other Thoughts: I would Highly recommend this card as it is a complete powerhouse.
