5 out of 5 eggsTotally satisfied (ATi Vs. nVidia)

Pros: -Great price

-There are some nifty things that can be done with the included software

-Installation was a breeze

-Capable of running two displays simultaneously (you can also use a TV as part of your desktop)

-It's real easy to overclock, not something that I do though

Cons: -ocassionaly some of my monitors will blank out for about 2-3 sec. longer than usual, but only when loading games or changing settings.

-I think it's making my system run a little hotter, could be because of the weather though...

Other Thoughts: I've been able to run the following games at the following settings:

HL2-Maxed settings 1280x1024

Doom 3-Maxed settings 1600x1200

Quake 4-Maxed settings 1600x1200

F.E.A.R.-High settings 1024x768

Halo-Maxed settings 1600x1200

So you can compare, my system specs:

-3.06Ghz P4 630

-1.5GB DDR2 667 Ram

-SATA 1.5GB/s 250GB HDD

-Diamond Xtreme Sound (EAX 2.0)

-And of course ATi X1600XT

ATi Vs. nVidia

By the way if you're trying to decide between ATi and nVidia you should know that ATi makes better cards for the budget conscious, nVidia makes better top of the line cards. If you're going to spend over $250 you should probably give nVidia another a look.

5 out of 5 eggsYOU cant COMPLAIN

Pros: core clock 30 mhz less then x1900 the memory speed is BETTER then a 7900GTX, for the price this card is HUGE BANG FOR BUCK, and if YOU run 2 in X-FIRE, YOU will BLOW 90% of the gaming computers out there 2-day COMPLETELY out of the water

Cons: 12 PIPELINES versus 116 & 128 bit interface versus 256, RUN in X-FIRE mode & you will be, GOOGLE EYED

Other Thoughts: great for a cheap gaming RIG

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressive results

Pros: Excellent card. Able to run F.E.A.R., COD2, Doom 3, Far Cry, and UT2004 at max settings @ 1600x1200 with no lag. Replaced a X600 Pro and the difference is phenominal.

Cons: Heat, and lots of it.. I added a waterblock, and hooked it up to my Thermaltake water cooling system, and dropped the gpu temp about 20 degrees C..

Other Thoughts: Excellent card for the money.

My system specs:
MSI MB P4N Diamond motherboard
P4 3.4 @3.91
2 Gig OCZ Gold DDR2
Plextor 52x24x52 CDRW
plextor 16x DL DVD
ASUS Vento 3600 Case
2 WD Raptors 74GB
1 WD Caviar 400GB

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the money

Pros: Great frame rates for pretty much anything I throw at it... even FEAR.

Cons: none that I can think of...

Other Thoughts: I recommend using Omega Drivers instead of regular ATI drivers just for that little performance boost.

2 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: Couldn't even find out

Cons: DOA. The card was defective from the start. No video signal whatsoever. Tries the best in the different machine to same result.

Other Thoughts: Looks impressive on paper. Wish I could actually experience that.

5 out of 5 eggsYerp this thing is tight

Pros: This is a great card and runs very solid on my computer and would recommend it to anyone before buying the new X1900 series which is a little better for alot when when you can use ATi tray to clock this one

Cons: it doesnt give you wings...

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG ROCKS.... if you are dumb enough to get this thing to catch on fire then u should not even try to build or fix a computer... some people are mentlly challenged or to be politically correct "learning impaired"

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire Radeon X1600XT

Pros: Awsome frame rates with newer games. Easy to install. Great price.

Cons: Need to get the updated software from ATI's website.

Other Thoughts: Intalled the card in a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ computer with 1 Gig ram. Running COD2 and Far Cry. Card is definately a performer for the money.
