4 out of 5 eggsSpiffy Card

Pros: Very cheap for this card's performance. Seems to be pretty stable, runs well in XFire with another better 2600 XT from HIS. I ran this for a few months in XFire playing Supreme Commander and lesser games, editing video, etc, but I sold it recently because the other better 2600 XT did me fine by itself. I wasn't often bothering to switch to Cross Fire-- and if you have dual monitors, having to switch back and forth between XFire gets annoying.

Cons: The XFire switching was annoying, but I'm sure most people who'll put this into crossfire won't have dual monitors, so it shouldn't be a problem. I actually had to RMA this after a few months because it got fried randomly one day, but I don't think it's a common problem. Newegg sent me a new one for free within a week, and I'm a happy happy person.

Other Thoughts: Sapphire is a good brand. I am hoping to replace the other 2600 XT of mine with a 3870 X2! Yummy!

Also, Newegg is amazing. They never cease to please me.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Bad For The Money

Pros: Bought this card for my daughters system, they are WOW junkies :-) WOW isn't the most demanding of all games but I ran my Mage through the Stormwind auction house and it ran almost 60 FPS, not quite.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: 5 Eggs are for this card for this card at this price, don't expect it to be more than what it is. You could Crossfire this card for a reasonable price. It also is not a power supply killer

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 Flight Sim!

Pros: I play IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, a World War Two flight simulation game. Performance with that game is great. I get excellent FPS on max settings. The 512MB on- board memory helps. Plug-and-play installation was a breeze. Catalyst Control Center works well using Basic optimal settings. A big + is that this card works off the 300w power supply on my 2007 mid-range Dell XPS 410.

Cons: Some stutters, but they're very short and that's to be expected when there's heavy air-to-air and air-to-ground action.

Other Thoughts: Bottom Line Up Front: This card is an excellent value for the Newegg price.

You can't beat Newegg's service. I've had good experiences playing IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 with ATI cards and this Sapphire 2600XT continues that trend.

2 out of 5 eggsATI Catalyst software sucks!!!

Pros: it works somewhat after hrs of installation headaches with their supplied CD saying it doesn't support the hardware and was written for a previous version of OS.. (running XP pro SP3). What T?? F???? Still can't get the SVHS/Composite output to work. Same error during install every time no matter what version of their software I've downloaded and installed. Driver only or Catalyst suite. Doesn't matter. Worthless for my purposes.. Thinking of making a "BLENDER VIDEO" of it since it was cheep!

Cons: I've owned several brands of cards and ATI seems to be the worst for drivers. Especially their CATALYST suite. My All in Wonder was the worst for crashing and bluescreening.
I will NEVER buy another ATI product. NVIDIA gets my $$$ after this last attempt.

Other Thoughts: Last try at ATI. hmm.. does that rhyme?

3 out of 5 eggsAnother review

Pros: After owning this GFX Card for about a month now, and using it extensively with Gaming, I'm a little apprehensive in giving it a great review. Between F.E.A.R, SWAT4, Oblivion, and Hidden and Dangerous, it performs...and thats just about it.

Cons: Can't handle the highest setting on F.E.A.R or SWAT4. Sadly it lags pretty bad when playing Hidden and Dangerous Online. It handles Oblivion pretty well, with minimal lag issues only when loading new areas. Constantly runs at 50*C which is a little nerve-wrecking.

Other Thoughts: I guess for the money it works. It's not going to turn any heads with impressive GFX but it gets the job done for your average gamer.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: Great Frame rates, dvd's look amazing! it at least from my experience does a great job at upconverting video at least dvd stuff, Flight Sim X with Acceleration 18 FPS with maxed out at 1280X1024

Cons: few some things not as great FPS but watch out i haven't been able to get to the rebate peoples website as it is NOT directly from Sapphire, and i have read some blogs and other forums and such and many others have experienced the same problem

4 out of 5 eggsGood Price, Decent Performance

Pros: Able to play newer games on near maxed out settings without too many problems (AoC, LOTRO). It's not going to run Crysis with high settings, but for the cost you get a good bargain.

Cons: A bit underpowered compared to similar Nvidia cards. Horrible at AA and AF compared to Nvidia offerings.

Other Thoughts: I feel that for what I paid I got good cards. Not great but very good. I have 2 of these in Crossfire and allows me to play LOTRO at Ultra High at about 20FPS and AoC on High with no shadows at 45+FPS.

4 out of 5 eggsOkie review

Pros: Installation is easy and the graphics are good for a low cost card. I am very happy.

Cons: None to date.

Other Thoughts: I used this item in a crossfire setup and it works well with no problems to setup.Probably go with a faster card later on but for the money this was a nice find.
