Pros: Price,performence,looks,512mb GDDR3,crossfire supported,256bit (hard to find a 256bit card at this price)low power useage. fast shipping! GO NEWEGG!!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: ok, i bought this card open box 2 weeks ago for $56.00 it's amazing! i put it in my moms Dell xps 420 and it really plays games nice. (my moms xps 420 had a 2400pro in it)
moms system..

Q6600 2.4ghz
3gb ddr2 800
320gb hd
HD 3850
350w psu (stock!)

i was soo amazed by the performence of this card. and how low of a psu you need to use it. i did a crysis benchmark at very high dx10 1440x900 and got avg fps of 21 and a max of 32! (i'm not kidding, this card is awesome!) don't wait any longer to buy it. JUST BUY IT!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome has a number. It's 3850

Pros: Fast, powerful, dependible and all around awesome. Plus it only takes one slot.

Cons: It's about as long as my motherboard. It can easily cover your SATA ports on some mother boards and block places to put your hard drives in some cases.

Other Thoughts: Rates 5.9 on the Vista-meter, though that doesn't even really mean anything, as that's still the cap.

3 out of 5 eggsMilwaukee Pilot

Pros: The Card worked Wonderful...... At first!

Cons: I thought every one complaining about the card getting to hot were your average OC guys! But I was really wrong... Sorry! The card the first week ran between 37C and 45C under load but as time went on That changed! Not to much later I noticed a warm smell comming from the case yeah your right the card! Running anyware from 70C to 80c underload! After this happening I bought a PCI slot fan to help. Still no help! Know I'm starting to get the Black Screen of death off and on!

Other Thoughts: I'm call Newegg next week to RMA it. As well as I ordered the XFX 4850 as I shoulda in the First place:)
AMD 64x2 , Gigabyte MA78GM-S2HP , 4gig ram, OS Windows XP, Corsair 750w ,500gig hard . 7 diff fans running through the case! I don't think its anything I'm doing!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent video card, no problems and runs cool.
Gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply due to a bad egg experiance....and they are rare.

Cons: This was not my first choice for video card. Newegg had one on shell shocker that I ordered. When I called to inquire as to when the order would be placed, it seemed that newegg and paypal had a poor arangement that resulted in me not getting the card I wanted, and a delay of my order by 3 days. I guess they sold out of the card and just held up the other orders to keep from delivering.

Other Thoughts: If you have problems with buying from newegg through paypal, dont expect either one of them to accept fault and step up. Rather expect each one of them to point to the other and leave you hanging in a lurch.

1 out of 5 eggsRMAhole

Pros: The card was great.... worked like a charm.

Cons: The fan died exactly 1 year after i bought it. Sapphire wants me to spend 30 dollars to get the same card when i can add a bit more and get a better one....

Other Thoughts: Ill never buy this brand agian.... i had previously reviewed this card as 5 eggs and was super satisfied. But when the fan stopped working suddenly and fried the GPU i e-mailed Sapphire asking for assistance and all they want me to do is spend more money to send the thing back. I will never purchase sapphire agian. Too bad... the card ran so well too.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: I love this card.. It's absolutely great, especially for the price. Mine runs pretty cool too, don't know what overheating issues those other guys are talking about.. unless they're increasing the cpu clock like 500MHz and expect it to maintain low temp playing some crazy DX10 game on max settings.. this isn't a hardcore gaming card.. but it is an excellent card non the less, great card for anyone who is venturing into the world of computer gaming for the first time..

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I had previously bought a HD3650 and had to RMA it because it was DOA and was missing accessories.. boy am I glad that card didn't work, otherwise I probably would not have bought this gem.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card for the money

Pros: Fantastic value for the money, very stable even at high temps, and plays most everything I have at 1680 x 1050 with high settings and respectable fps!

Cons: BIG card, and boy can this thing get warm and noisy...but I game with headphones, so I just say screw it and I crank up the card's fan to max, and play on!

Other Thoughts: My AMD 64 X2 4400+ is bottlenecking this card unfortunately, so I just bought a 64 X2 5000+ (2.6GHz). I've heard the 5000 overclocks to 3.0GHz very easily with very little temp change, so I'm willing to bet that this new processor will let me throttle out this HD3850 some more! Crysis (on even higher settings), here I come!

4 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck

Pros: Upgraded to this card from two x1650 pro Sapphire cards cross-fired together. Both were $100 when I got them a year back. This card alone at $80 is outperforming my previous two!

Runs WoW on maxed settings with most often 50-60fps.
Runs The Witcher at max settings with no lag.
Runs CoD4 at max settings with no problems at all.

For $80, this card is a beast.

Cons: This card is large, but I didn't have any trouble getting it to fit. I can't imagine having a case so small that this card's size would make or break the deal?

Other Thoughts: Was giving a heads-up by a friend who said to make sure to watch so that the card doesn't overheat. He solved his problem by putting the standard fan speed from 30% to a constant 70%. So far, no problems at all.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't Know What they're Talking about?

Pros: Great Card! Great Price! Easy Install! Not Hot or Warm Running At all! Beautiful Graphics!

Cons: If any cons..... The card is rather large. So if you don't have allot of room either make some or order different card!

Other Thoughts: The card dosn't run hot at all with normal clock settings. The card runs at 37c with all the setting turned on high! (how ever I have only run movies and Aces High 2 so far) It may go up with higher Direct x10 games. But with all the talk about it over heating or getting really warm..... Sure it will over heat but what do you expect when you sart over clocking CPU's and GPU's?
