5 out of 5 eggsThe solution to your AGP Problems

Pros: Easy install, powerfull, capable card. Good software support.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was surprised after reading some of the reviews with how easily I was able to install this component. It was up and running with a minimal of fuss. In fact, my computers power button (which is a bit flaky) was the only delay in having this card in, up, and running in under 15 minutes. The software went in like a breeze on WinXP Pro. I highly recomend this card to anyone with an AGP slot who needs an upgrade. It replaced my aging GeForce FX 5600 that had died, and shows a considerable increase in performance over the old faithfull.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Easy setup, great price

Cons: paper rebates are so 2007.

Other Thoughts: For an aging computer and his equally aging operator, this was a great deal to get more mileage out of my AGP setup. Installation and setup were a snap. I did not experience any problems with the drivers (XP).

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great. Cheap DX10 for AGP

Pros: Price and the ability to breath one last breath into an aging AGP system. It works wonderfully. Have not upgraded to a PCI-E motherboard and wanted something decent to get me through to the holidays. Allows me to game on low settings. I'm not a heavy gamer. Overclocks slightly well. Not going to push my luck with this card.

Cons: only 1 minor complaint..... no DVI to HDMI converter in the box. BUT, I shouldn't expect the world for $50.

Other Thoughts: Have not upgraded to a PCI-E motherboard and wanted something decent to get me through to the holidays. Thanks newegg. One day shipping. Granted I'm semi-local (25 miles). Considering the price of gas it's cheaper then heading to Fry'*.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very quiet. Not extra power needed for the card.

Cons: Drivers from ATI website don't recognize the card. You must manually select the driver for the appropriate chipset.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds Registry Tweak For HD playback

Pros: Being used for an HD HTPC. Inexpensive and quiet. High Definition TS files work fine once the registry tweak is applied. One of just a few AGP cards with HDCP.

Cons: Even with the most recent drivers, hardware HD acceleration will NOT work unless a separate registry tweak is applied. I can not understand why ATI or Sapphire would sell a card with hardware acceleration deactivated.

Other Thoughts: After spending hours trying to get this card to play high definition TS files, I finally found the solution: Install Catalyst 8.4 from Sapphire site. After rebooting, install the exdeus HD 2400 registry tweak (to find it use Google). Reboot again and everything should work fine.

5 out of 5 eggsdon't be afaid to buy

Pros: It worked great in crysis a good 15 frames on medium (im not picky about frames) with physics high and only running on a agp 2.0 4x slot so if you have a 8x it can probably do twice that.

Cons: The only con I have is that I was scared and waited so long to buy this wonderful product

Other Thoughts: I was afraid when i first bought this product that it would not work because of the driver issue but don't be scared , It only took 1 min to put it in and 30 seconds to install it.

5 out of 5 eggspretty good card

Pros: well, it gets 5 stars because so far it is the best card you can get under 50 bucks, the fan on it needs an improvement if your the type that likes to over clock, so far with no over clock my temp is idle at 48 degrees, this card comes with an overclocking utility, that lets you overclock with ease. pretty good card.

Cons: im not buying another one because its weak. not that the card is bad, but the company can only do this much with 50 dollars.

Other Thoughts: my computer has an amd 4800+ athlon x2 brisbane, 2gb crucial memory, this card, a wireless adapter, a k8m800 board, and my cpu is overclocked to 2.75GHz not overclocking more

3 out of 5 eggsSapphire 100232L quality control

Pros: The specifications on this video card are respectable for most home computer users with a plus of being a Directx10 compatible. Overall performance has been quite promising although it didn't play well with the sleep modes on my PC.

Cons: The first Sapphire 100232L I received came with a blank driver CD. The Windows operating system would not recognize the video card. When I was able to load the drivers the card failed after two days.

Other Thoughts: After a long nail biting wait for a replacement card, the new one install very easily and has been working very good for about a week now. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

3 out of 5 eggsIts OK.

Pros: When and if you get it to work you can play Halo at all max 800x600 30fps average. It plays Ut2004 at mostly medium/low settings at 640x480 with like 100fps with only 1 second random dips into 20fps. It can play Ut3 at some lower settings with acceptable fps, even though my cpu is the minimum requirnment for the game. and Notice how i said this card is fine when or IF you can get it working.

Cons: ati does not support this card, their site only has special driver updates for the Pci express version. Also when you go to update your drivers from the sapphire site, they dont work. The driver on the disk seems to not want to uninstall. So updating drivers is something you cant do, and the one on the disk installs a weird version of direct x and than it makes the card incompatible with direct 3d games like ut2k4 and halo and UT3. after much work of uninstalling drivers, reinstalling, attempting to update them and downloading direct X from microsoft, and calling tech support, and reinstalling/uninstalling service pack 2, I FINALLY got it work, and still dont know how i did it. it took 2 computer experts 6 days and 20+ hours and a 30 minute tech support phone call to get it working.

Other Thoughts: My computer is Intel Penitum 4 2.0ghz with 1.2gb of ram and this card.
