5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC Card

Pros: -No Fan
-DVI, S-Vidoe, and VGA out put so huge compatibility
-Works with XBMC
-Low power
-Exactly what i needed for this system
-I had no problem using this card with Windows 7 Aero turned on

Cons: -low power card so not good with newer games,
-No HDMI port
both are acceptable so i did not take an egg off, since i read the description before buying this card I knew exactly what i was getting.

Other Thoughts: Unit was part of a HTPC running XBMC and Windows 7, completely passively cooled the temps were high at 67*C on the card, but after I added 1 120mm fan the temps dropped to a very acceptable 40-45*C, and unit is still silent from the couch.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Poor Performance

Pros: You can enable hybrid crossfire in xp and vista under the ati catalyst software with this card. (latest drivers with XP)

Cons: Not worth buying. Horrible performance. Probably better off just using onboard graphics as this seems like a waste of money. When hybrid crossfire is enabled, I dont see much of a performance difference than without. A LOT of artifacting/distortion with game play.

Other Thoughts: Hybrid crossfire is not what it is hyped up to be. You are better off putting more money into a better graphics card and less money into a hybrid crossfire capable motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No fan, low cost, low heat CrossFireX ready.

Cons: See other.

Other Thoughts: I was building a new PC, and I thought this had more power to it. But, it handled a lot of stuff rather well.
It's a solid card, and I was in a rush. It did render almost everything I wanted.
I would recommend it for older games, like Half Life 2.
If I remember correctly, it got a Windows Index score of 3.5.

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC

Pros: No Fan
Low Heat
Works great with PCIe 1.0
S-Video>Composite Out Cable included

Cons: Still a bit too expensive for what it is
CPU utilization is pretty much unchanged compared to onboard VGA

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to use in an HTPC setup. I am very happy with the fanless design and low heat of this card. Under load, the card does not produce enough heat to trigger higher fan speeds. The box is a bit older and supports only PCIe 1.0. This card worked without a hitch. My CPU utilization is pretty much unchanged compared to onboard VGA. However, my box didn't have S-vid out so I was forced into the purchase. IMO, the card is a good choice for non-HDMI HTPC.

4 out of 5 eggsHybrid Crossfire Supported card.

Pros: Hybrid Crossfire supported.
Ran Oblivion on max settings.
This card came with all functioning cables, worked 100%.

Cons: You get what you pay for. Some games run poorly.
This card doesn't fit inside some cases.
This card doesn't run with Xorg without specific drivers.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card because I needed something a little faster for games, you don't honestly need to run everything on max settings. I use hybrid crossfire, and the performance increase is easily noticed.

2 out of 5 eggsNot for gaming

Pros: Low cost, passive heat sink

Cons: Low performance, passive heat sink

Other Thoughts: I thought that using this in a hybrid crossfire config with an onboard HD 3300 in the Biostar T Force TA 790gx motherboard would be usable. It actually lowered my vista score when I plugged this in and turned on crossfire mode. It couldn't handle Guitar Hero 3 or Tombraider Underworld at all. I guess I did expect a bit much from it, but the HD 3300 onboard did better than this. I returned it for a refund.

1 out of 5 eggsUsed Card

Pros: It works.

Cons: I was sent a used card. It was obvious from the packaging and the fact that the contacts on the PCI Express connector showed obvious abrasions where the card had been inserted into a slot. Not happy about this at all.

Other Thoughts: If I ever get another used item after ordering a NEW item from Newegg, it will be the last time I order anything from them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: This is a great video card for the price, I'm not a heavy gamer but I use Photoshop CS4 a lot and the program squeezes the juice out of this GPU without any problems. Vista x64 aero is very fast. It is fan less, so no extra annoying fan noise

Cons: none so far
