- Pros: Card runs all games at max settings. Noticeable difference from previous card which was a GeForce 8800 GT.
- Cons: 1st card died after 7 months of average use. Turned it on one day to 3 red diag lights. Went though Sapphire RMA process which was really easy, had a RMA number in about 4 hours. 2 weeks later, Sapphire had sent a brand new card to replace the one that died.
- Other Thoughts: Hope new cards lasts longer than 7 months.
A Monster!
- Pros: - Fast
- Cool Looking - Smokes all my games @ 1680x1050 all max. - Good overclocking utilities / fan control
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Big, but fit in my Antec 900 without having to remove any hard drive cages or anything. Snug fit though so check your case specs. Overall, awesome card, great price. Love it!
Horrible Cooling
- Pros: Excellent card on ATI's part.
- Cons: Sapphire ruined this by slapping a poorly designed cooling device on a great card. The cooling screws up my entire case's airflow, the fan doesn't have any directional flow.
- Other Thoughts: when I purchased this card, I made the mistake of getting a cheaper manufactured one. No issues with card other than stock cooling, just get something else air-based, a water-block for this card doesn't seem to exist, it does for other manufactured cards, just not this model, water-cooling was my original idea for this card, but that has gone down the drain.
