4 out of 5 eggsfair price for a decent product

Pros: Runs just about everything out there, price

Cons: doesnt like to play rift so well

Other Thoughts: all in all a very good card for the price, shoulda spent a little more and got a 480gtx though.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Great Card, used it for well over 3 years with no problems. Upgrading now to a 7950, hoping to get the same out of that card!

Cons: 0 cons! Worked well from the start! Still going strong!

Other Thoughts: Hoping my new graphics card coming in today works as well as this one did.

5 out of 5 eggscould swear i did my review on this already

Pros: The OG of gddr 5. bought this card in march of 2009. it's the card in my pc now. Plays everything. best purchase i ever made.

Cons: none really. this is one thing i don't regret spending money on.

Other Thoughts: i laugh at myself when i think back on the cards i bought at retail stores. i was an idiot. this was before i knew about newegg. I spent 200 bucks on this card, and just 2 years before that i spent 200 bucks on the best card they had at the retail place. the difference is night and day. exponential even.

5 out of 5 eggsTest of time

Pros: Have had this card just under 3 years now, still scores 7.5 on windows index and runs every game I own, at max/near max.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: I've had this card for well over 2 years now and dollar for dollar this is the best piece of hardware I've ever purchased. Halfway through owning it I upgraded to a 30" screen and it still handles everything fairly well at 2560x1600. (just enough memory) It runs a little hot and the fan is audible at full speed but it's been rock-solid. Point is that I wouldn't have an issue buying one of these used, and given it's age you can find them for cheap.

Cons: Like most other cards the heatsink on this isn't designed to be directional. This doesn't affect the card so much but in my case it creates a little swirl of hot air between it and the CPU fan.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Card runs all games at max settings. Noticeable difference from previous card which was a GeForce 8800 GT.

Cons: 1st card died after 7 months of average use. Turned it on one day to 3 red diag lights. Went though Sapphire RMA process which was really easy, had a RMA number in about 4 hours. 2 weeks later, Sapphire had sent a brand new card to replace the one that died.

Other Thoughts: Hope new cards lasts longer than 7 months.

5 out of 5 eggsA Monster!

Pros: - Fast
- Cool Looking
- Smokes all my games @ 1680x1050 all max.
- Good overclocking utilities / fan control

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Big, but fit in my Antec 900 without having to remove any hard drive cages or anything. Snug fit though so check your case specs. Overall, awesome card, great price. Love it!

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible Cooling

Pros: Excellent card on ATI's part.

Cons: Sapphire ruined this by slapping a poorly designed cooling device on a great card. The cooling screws up my entire case's airflow, the fan doesn't have any directional flow.

Other Thoughts: when I purchased this card, I made the mistake of getting a cheaper manufactured one. No issues with card other than stock cooling, just get something else air-based, a water-block for this card doesn't seem to exist, it does for other manufactured cards, just not this model, water-cooling was my original idea for this card, but that has gone down the drain.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap upgrade

Pros: Great price point, much improved over 8800gts

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Really wowed by the increase in performance from the 8800gts 512 to this GPU, no heating problems, easy install, really big card, bought as open box, good price,
please note;two 6 pin pci-e power connectors required ,
gpu temp at idle 27c, have Rosewill mid tower case with good front to back air flow, make the plunge, a lot of bang for the buck
