4 out of 5 eggsNice for the money

Pros: low power, low heat, works great with Win XP and Win 7 32 bit, used the hdmi to hook to a second monitor and then an HDTV. both worked fine

Cons: Entry level card, don't expect too much, OC not really an option due to fanless and power from pci-e

Other Thoughts: 4 eggs not because of awesome performance, but because its a great "entry level" card

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Good

Pros: Hi, building PC's 5+ years. Lots of image editing and stuff. This is a good video card.

Works good with Ubuntu Linux.

Second one I had. No problems.

As mentioned below - not a card for hi-octane gaming.

Cons: None. All the specs on this stuff make me dizzy - just get the card, slam it in there and hit it until the thing chokes, then get one with a gig (if needed).

Newegg rocks - fast delivery and all that.

Other Thoughts: Case mod with a near-silent Scythe fan in the empty PCI slots. It's easy. Clamps right in there, 80mm. Lots quieter than the little video card fans. Need a Dremel tool, but that's standard for cutting fan grills out anyway, and stuff.

Still room for a single PCI expansion above, if needed.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Great protective packaging, multiple ports, low-profile ready, VGA cable length allows positioning of bracket on either left or right side of PCIe slot . . . critical with the Optiplex SFF boxes we use.

Cons: None. I got more than I paid for.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what all the whining is about, the heat sink on this is pretty substantial. It is going to run hot, of course, but any adequately ventilated system can handle that and the card itself is fine. Noone in their right mind would game using passive cooling, so just take that complaint of the table and let's talk about the merits of a fine workhorse card.

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC video card

Pros: Fanless and silent, has HDMI, VGA, DVI outputs. Just right for a small HTPC.

Cons: Not enough power or cooling for high-end gaming but plenty for its intended use in an HTPC.

Other Thoughts: I put this card in a SFF Foxconn kit (that I got from newegg, of course). After playing a blu ray movie the card reached a maximum temp of 118F, acceptable to me. Avatar played smoothly with no problems, and that movie pushes a LOT of pixels.
The build:
Foxconn R10-G3
Core 2 Duo E7500
Corsair 2GB DDR2 800
Sapphire Radeon HD 4350 (fanless)
LG Blu Ray combo drive (standard size)
WD 160GB 7200 RPM HDD

5 out of 5 eggsNeeded a quiet card for HTPC

Pros: I needed a card for my HTPC but it had to be extremely quiet. This thing is perfect for what I'm looking for. I needed a new card to run BR movies with my PowerDVD. This worked perfectly. It was extremely easy to install on my Win7 64bit system.

Cons: None yet

5 out of 5 eggsNice card for DAW or HTPC

Pros: Fanless. Slim. One slot space; doesn't block neighboring slots. Relatively cool for this type of card. I have this connected to an Acer P241W(DVI) and a Viewsonic VX2235(analog). Acer has HDMI in, too, but haven't tried it, yet. In my system, it's drawing waveforms and scrolling laterally, most of the time. Movies are smooth. Included drivers are stable, updated drivers are available, too, if needed.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's a good upgrade for onboard video;workstation/htpc. I don't use the HDMI audio, but if XP SP2 users want to use it and have problems with driver installation, see if the kb888111 patch is installed properly. It's already in SP3. I got a really good deal on this during the Valentine weekend sale, and they are usually a good deal anytime.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for HTPC

Pros: Quiet, low-profile, Win7 supported, HDMI out. Took the load off the onboard HD3200. Does exactly what I want it to do without drama. Looks great on my bigscreen.

Cons: none that i found yet

Other Thoughts: This isn't a gaming card, don't buy it for that purpose

5 out of 5 eggsGood basic passive card

Pros: - Passive, no buzzing noise, completely silent.
- With a modern Linux kernel (2.6.33 tested), kernel modesetting works, as does EXA/xv and basic 3d with free drivers.
- Heatsink is low profile and does not block the card slot below.
- Low power consumption: around 5W at idle is not much worse than an integrated video chipset.

Cons: Idle temperature is rather high: measured 55-62C on the heatsink depending on location with an IR thermometer. Gaming-style 3D use not tested since it lives in a Linux server.

Other Thoughts: Not a gaming card, but works great for other purposes.

5 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for

Pros: Runs well hasn't disappointed yet.

Cons: like others have said runs hot. scared to oc even just a little bit.- i would rather it not explode and have smoke coming out of my computer.

Other Thoughts: runs (windows 7) aero at 3.8 dropping my computers score when everything else is at 5. and above

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card for SFF

Pros: Low profile provides so much room... hence better airflow. Price is nice.

Cons: Do we need the D-Sub any more? Anyone buying this is installing into HTPC or SFF cases. So most likely they have a flat panel monitor with DVI or HDMI. this is the only reason for the 4 eggs.

Other Thoughts: Installed in Shuttle SG31G2v2. Recognized immediately by Windows 7 Pro.
