5 out of 5 eggsVery nice, but weird card

Pros: I doubted this card's performance and ran all the games i have in 1024 resolution with lowest settings. In left for dead 2, or counter strike source, it only gave me about 70~100 fps. However, when i turned 2xAA, and changed the details to the max, i gained 10~20 increase in fps. This graphic card is best bang for the buck, however i would not recommend this card nowadays.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: IF you have light gaming/ budget system like i do, then go for this card. Otherwise, go buy 5770 or GTX 460. Two high end cards for the money

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Low-end CrossFireX Card

Pros: Very quiet, nice and cool, excellent performance for being an entry level, and low budget CFX card.

Cons: When I purchased a second card to run in CrossFire, the process to get them both running was a little interesting, because there was no connection on the card for a bridge to be attached. It's all enabled through the driver software.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: Windows 7 64 Bit bit WEI is 6.8 with a PCI-e 1.1 Slot. Card looks to be a great value for the basic HD Movie editing and Blu-Ray Disc generation. I'm not a gamer.

Cons: Full install caused blue screens with full ATI suite, downloaded the separate driver only piece. Installed went smootlhy, then downloaded the full suite after driver install. Everything installed cleanly.

Other Thoughts: Asked for slowest delivery, card was delivered the next day. Wow!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: To put it simply, there's a reason that it is at the top of the 'Best Rated' graphics cards on Newegg. This card performs well, and hasn't given me much of any trouble for the past year. It eats through the games I throw at it (Mass Effect 2, Source titles, Halo games, Fallout 3). It's a power sipper, generates very little heat.

Cons: Some trivial problems, likely relating to the 780g chipset on my motherboard. When installs Win7, the install will complete, but on the first boot up, the graphics card wont output digital (I either have to boot up with the onboard graphics, or I have to set up a DVI/VGA adapter to get any output, then I install drivers). I can definitely tell the sound difference between having this thing installed and not. The fan generates a low, but noticable sound. When gaming, it revvs up, but honestly, who listens to their computer when they are gaming. The sound is masked out by gunfire and explosions for me and most people.

Other Thoughts: This is a superb card at a great price. Any faults it has are trivial. I recommend buying one of the different models with a bigger fan if you desire silence, but for me, the one slot cooling solution was perfect.

2 out of 5 eggsfan begins not to cool it down

Pros: It was a very good graphics card for the price I paid for it and ran really well with alot of high-end games.

Cons: After about 2 or 3 months the fan started grinding against the enclosure causing the graphics card to overheat really easily by playing any game. The grinding sound is very loud and caused me to cut the sides of the fan to prevent it from grinding, but it still overheats very easily. I bought a PCI LED dual fan to blow on the graphics card which keeps it down to around 50C as to without it being at around 68 to 70 C. But whenever I play games maybe after like 20 minutes or so it'll get up to 100C and thats with the gpu fan set to 100% and the dual fans blowing on it at 4000RPM.

Other Thoughts: Wish it could cool itself down better...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: had a Radeon 2400HD which pretty much melted. I bought this to replace it and it worked great. easy install and ran L4D at max fps with no lag. Its very, very quiet.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: i was worried it wouldn't fit because the fan is huge on this sucker.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent budget graphics

Pros: This is a definite improvement over onboard graphics for those who don't want a total overhaul or a new build. It's low on wattage, runs on a 300W PSU even. Single slot. HDMI out, VGA and DVI for maximum compatibility. Comes with overclocking utilities to squeeze a few extra FPS out when you DO get that new computer and are waiting on the video card. By now the drivers are fairly stable. 512MB is a nice amount for a budget card like this.

Cons: The overclocking is very, very limited (it's a budget card.) No competition for the GeForce 250 series and higher.

It specifies 1GHz RAM. True speeds are
750MHz core/873MHz mem
Maximum RAM speed is 980MHz.

Other Thoughts: Used an old Compaq system (mostly prebuilt) with a Bestec 300W power supply. 19A on the +12v rail.
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Venice) (220MHzx11=2.42GHz)
1GB (2x512MB) DDR-400 @ 220MHz 3-3-3-8
2 IDE (PATA) HDDs
1 SATA HDD (Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB)
1 IDE DVD+RW Drive
lots and lots of USB devices, including webcam, wireless-internet-USB adapter, iPod, printer, wireless keyboard/mouse
Generic 300W PSU (Bestec)
and this card

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are fully playable at the highest detail settings (1280x1024, HDR Ultra High)

Team Fortress 2 fully playable at highest detail settings.

Counter-Strike Source: about 100-200FPS

This card is not a replacement for a weak CPU. In nearly all my games I experience micro-stutters when I move around, but just looking around I get amazing FPS. This indicates a CPU fault.

Ultimately, if you're over three months away from a new build, this card will make a huge improvement over onboard graphics.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT

Pros: Very cheap. Got it for $70 including shipping. Doesn't need any power connectors. Pretty quiet. I dont get why people say it's so loud.. when i put the fan on 100% the sound from the game makes it hard to hear the fan noise.
my integrated graphics bottle necked my computer but ever since i got this card, i could play left 4 dead on highest settings with 1600x900 resolution and get about 70-100+ fps and i could also run crysis on high on 1024x768 and get about 30-40 fps. i could run it on very high and i get around 20 fps.

Cons: none so far (:

Other Thoughts: my specs are..

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0 ghz
500 gb HD
3 gb RAM
Sapphire Radeon HD 4670

5 out of 5 eggssuprising performance

Pros: cheap!!! low power requirement! can run most current games at modest resolutions (1024*728//1280*1024)

Cons: not exactly a card for the "enthusiast"

Other Thoughts: i bought this for my dell pentium d. build a year ago. i didnt realize its full capabilities until i assembled a new computer. im now running it with a phenom ii x 3 720 CPU and i have got a 20% increase in most games. for a $70 card this is perfect for most current games if you play in a lower resolution. if you set on 1680 and higher look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsMedium Gamer

Pros: This graphic card contains enough for the latest Video Game graphics. 512 MB should be more enough to run those last minute high end games you may have been dreaming of obtaining. Here is some examples:

Company of Heroes, Left 4 Dead, Half Life, Supreme Commander, Command Conquer, Mirror's Edge, OverLord, etc.

NOTE: Some of these games may need to run on lower settings depending on your other hardware. Do take not the games I listed have been tested by me personally.

The fan sound is the same as my INTEL 950 Media Accelerator. So to tell you the truth, I slept with the thing running over night, and its right next to me with about 10 feet away.

Cons: May not be able to play one of the higher end games that will be released in the future, but it might be able to handle them at low settings. Why would you get this card if you are hardcore? This is medium!

Other Thoughts: Perfect for upgrading any medium to large tower pc with as low as 300 W Power Supply. Easy to install and add, watch out for the SOUND CARD. This comes with a ATI sound added to it, so make sure to forget about installing that and switch to your on-board sound card in the BIOS. Unless you have a separate sound card running, leave as is.
