Awesome!!!
- Pros: Great card! It plays all current and older games in high settings. Make sure you have a good enough power supply.
- Cons: Driver install. Has nothing to do with card but most if not all know how hard it can be when installing video drivers...
- Other Thoughts: This is card is a must buy and you will not be disappointed!
Amazing card for the $...
- Pros: Overall, great card. It is lighter, smaller(1 cm shorter), and runs much cooler(~10*C due to an extra copper heatpipe on the HSF) than my Sapphire 100259L that I have it running in Crossfire with. Two of these in Crossfire would make an incredibly potent gaming setup for under $280. I can run STALKER Clear Sky at max settings and never drop below 65FPS, COD4 never drops below 91FPS, and Left4Dead is smooth as silk at 1680x1050 8xAA. Even more, this card added to another 4870 in Xfire only added a few *C to my overall temps, allowing me to keep my 4.25GHz OC. The redesigned heatsink makes an obvious difference: the core temp playing STALKER CS never reached above 70*C, which is very impressive for a 4870!
- Cons: GPU heatsink/fan setup does not exhaust all air outside the case, only some. Sucks quite a bit of power, especially in Crossfire.

Radeon has taken me from Geforce
- Pros: 512mb GDDR5 at 256-bit + 800 Stream processing units + 750MHz Core clock = amazing card. EPSECIALLY for the price!
- Cons: None yet.
- Other Thoughts: I used to be a ravid Geforce fan, untill I had to buy an AGP card. I searched everywhere for the best of Geforce AGP cards and found the 7900GS. I was really happy with this card, untill I found the Radeon HD 3850. I bought the Radeon and have never looked back at Geforce. The HD 3850 basically matched the 8800GT. And it was AGP, mind you. Now that I finally got my X58 mobo and a PCI-e2.0 slot, I new I had to get a very affordable and great RADEON card. Thats where this bad boy comes it. At only $140, you cannot beat this deal.
