It works
- Pros: This card plays every thing that I throw at it on high specs, Borderlands, WOW, LF4D, CSSource, and many more, for the price you cannot beat it. Everything was easy to install and drivers worked off of website
- Cons: not 1 gig but no big deal
- Other Thoughts: It does not have a 6 pin 12v power plug in so I was surprised at the performance of the card
Sapphire Radeon HD 4670
- Pros: Easy installation, worked right out the box. Didn't even try the drivers that came with the card, just downloaded the latest ones from ATI/AMD website. Runs well on Halo 2 and DMC 4 without a hitch. Crysis Wars hurts the card somewhat, but hey, it's Crysis. Also, my system isn't the latest and greatest as well.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Takes up two slots on a mobo, so make sure you have the room for it to fit in your case/mobo. Also, make sure that your system supports PCI Express 2.0.
System specs:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4400+ 2.3 GHz 2.5 GB Memory 320 GB Sata HDD Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4670 Dual Layer DVD Burner
Amazing for the price
- Pros: Put new life into my Gateway 5082
I'm able to play all the newer games at reasonable settings (medium or higher, depending on the game)
- Cons: Hastle to install on a uBTX motherboard
- Other Thoughts: I would have game it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I had to reshape the fan to fit my motherboard. Anyone who knows what a uBTX motherboard is like, knows that the gpu faces up inside the case. The problem with this is that the motherboard 24pin connector is right there. Due to this card's height (2.5"), when I installed it the fan couldn't spin due to the connector. I basically took a pair of pliers and bent the fan blades a bit so that it wouldn't catch onto the connector. I know it's now the best thing to do, but it's the only option I had.
