3 out of 5 eggs2 year warranty from saphhire

Pros: worked great for 2 years, apparently I bought in 3/10 and the warranty is only for two years from Sapphire. it is still high on the list for being a top card.

Cons: High price doesn't mean it will last as long as you would expect a component at this price to last. the display port is now intermittently working and increasing in regularity. I run three 27" monitors, two on dvi one on dp. dvi's have no problems at all.

Other Thoughts: at this price, there should be a longer warranty.
if you buy sapphire....make sure you have reserves when their product fails.

5 out of 5 eggsyup

Pros: Well. looks like I might be the last to review this so here goes. running them in crossfirex and they are simply amazing. replaced my 295gtx sli. they are... amazing cards no doubt. just curious why did they stop making these cards?

Cons: drivers are kinda meh with ati. but eh its all good. its better if you wait for drivers to mature with ati. never get ati cards when they first come out from what i have experienced over the years.

Other Thoughts: ATI for now. We will see what the future brings.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away at any costs

Pros: None. This card SUCKS. Worst graphics card that i have ever owned.
However thier customer support was very helpful.

Cons: I got 19-22 fps on Perfect world international, on highest settings. on lowest it was 45 fps. I installed oblivion, and the game stated, "Graphics quality set to LOW settings". i was stunned. My old evga 8800 gts got ultra high! Starcraft 2 cinematics are atrocious, they lag like no other video i have seen. i can only use 360p on youtube.
On top of being TOTALLY unsatisfied with my card, i had to bite down, on $86 to get a freaking refund!!!! i will never buy this card ever again, and i would strongly reccommend that you pick ANY other card than this one. Don't make the $86 mistake that i did.

Other Thoughts: I worked hard all summer, in the 100 degree heat moving boxes to scrape together enough money for my gaming computer. This is what i got. wow.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Fast Card, Plays any game now maxed out no problems and play the little DX11 games out now really well.

Cons: Price, paid MSRP not what they are charging now.

Other Thoughts: This Card will fold you just need to use the command

-forcegpu ati_r700

and for all the people that says this card sucks don't be mad because Nvidia is a day late and a dollar short.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Those interested in buying this card, Hands down this is the fastest Dual Gpu video card out there to this date. I have owned this for about 3 months now and this thing is FAST ! You can play any game you want Max Settings no need to worry about slow downs!

Cons: It disgusts me the amount of Nvidia fanboys that do Not own this video card and Troll around like Failures on the customer comments section to post reviews saying the 5970 is basically Junk!! and want to make it seem like the 5970 is not worth the money and it is not very fast.

Other Thoughts: Fast Shipping from UPS, Newegg is Awesome , The 5970 is the best video card to date. Buy with confidence do not let some Nvidia fanboy talk you down from getting the best Video card.

1 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: -plays games in windo$e

Cons: -Doesn't fold well
-Garbage on Linux
-Big
-Hot

Other Thoughts: I've already sold this card. Its not that great. Especially since it wont fold, and cant do the basics in Linux.

The GTX295 seemed to work MUCH better and easier..and ran cooler....and was cheaper.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Super Fast, cracks MD5 passwords like a supercomputer.

Cons: It's AMD.

Other Thoughts: I hate AMD fanboys, will get Fermi-core for real 3D rendering later.

5 out of 5 eggsATI Radeon HD 5970 Awesomeness

Pros: This card is so fast, it makes Crysis extremely enjoyable at 1680 x 1050 8x AA and 16AF everything set to very high settings. I get an average of 50 to 60 fps even in high action areas. Heat isnt an issue for me due to my 3 240 mm fans blowing on the card. Noise isn't that bad either, although I haven't had to crank the fans way up since I let catalyst automatically control them. Every other game out there, you are going to get crazy frame rates with this card. Can't wait until more directx 11 games hit the market and we'll see wha this baby can really do.

Cons: The card is large, however, in my HAF 932 case I was able to fit this beast in without having to mod anything. Card is about 14 inches so plan ahead of time if you are thinking about getting this. I cleared with an inch to spair. Also, the drivers still kinda are buggy, but ATI is good about putting out new drivers pretty regularly.

Other Thoughts: This card will beat the new Geforce GTX 480 when they come out. However, when Nvidia releases their dual GPU, it will most likely beat the 5970, but not by much. And also, ATI is the cheaper of the two companies. Nvidia likes to charge boat loads of money for a few more fps. But in reality, is it worth an extra 200 bucks for 10 frames? NO!

4 out of 5 eggshigh price...high rewards.

Pros: Very powerful card, I wouldnt even buy this card if you only intend to use one monitor, no matter what res. youre running. It doesnt even break a sweat on any game out there. This card was made for eyefinity in mind, Crysis is the only game that i cant run on max settings on triple 24 inch monitors. For example... Bad Company2, dirt2 run very smooth at high settings in eyefinity.
Runs very cool with waterblock installed, leaving lots of room for overclocking. heatsink is easier to remove than other cards i have had.

Cons: still has buggy drivers(no quadfire support for eyefinity..lots of microstutter with aa turned on in eyefinity). The quadfire support is so bad, I even removed the second card until the drivers get better.
Good luck finding these...very limited quantity..Newegg keeps jacking the price up. Sapphire's packaging isnt the greatest ,just a cardboard box like an old egg carton design, not much protection from the UPS hammer throw competition.

Other Thoughts: the second card i purchased was Asus brand, same card but the packaging and the sticker just scream high quality(think Razer Momba type packaging), letting you know that you just purchased a $700 card...not a carton of eggs...lol.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!!

Pros: Has run everything maxxed out, even Crysis (I do have them in Crossfire). Getting some psychotic frame rates here. Won't be upgrading for quite some time. GO BABY GO!!!!!

Cons: Had to get my brother to get the other one for me, due to the limit 1 per customer. An expensive set up but it was worth it.

Other Thoughts: Need a quad i7, or some seriously overclocked duo to push these babies. Also don't skimp on the PSU 1000 or more. YOU WILL HAVE A SMILE ON YOUR FACE, When you get them running properly.
