5 out of 5 eggsGood Card!

Pros: This card has served me very well for a budget card at the price I got it for. I bought this card in March of 2011 to replace an aging X1950GT (that still worked great by the way, just didn't have DX10/11 compatibility).

I've been happy with the performance, and haven't had any trouble with the card whatsoever that wasn't driver or software related.

Cons: ATI 12.x drivers have had a few stability issues, but it hasn't been card related as numerouse models have had reports of problems.

Other Thoughts: Recently, I decided I needed to upgrade again. I want to go back to the 256-bit memory interface as there's a massive noticeable performance increase when moving from the 128-bit --> 256-bit pipeline. Before I did that, I decided to O.C. my HD 5750 to see what I could get out of it.

I currently have the GPU overclocked 110 Mhz, and the memory 100 Mhz higher with no artifacting or temp problems. As a matter of fact, the temp only went up 2 degrees C under gaming load.

One thing that drives me crazy on reviews is when people get more than one DOA part or claim something like this fails in 3 months. I never believe it. I can count all the parts I've gotten DOA on 1 hand in 20 years, so it's likely they mishandled the part, or cooked it from inadequate cooling and claim it was a bad part.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: This card has served me well playing Crysis, Starcraft 2, TF2, and more with hardly any graphical issues

Cons: After almost two years of ownership the card was fried by dust, having never been cleaned in those two years. The two year warranty had almost expired, but it was replaced for only the price of ship[ping the fried card in.

Other Thoughts: This is a great card that has served me well. The only thing I regret is not getting a second one before they disappeared from newegg for a crossfire.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best cards I have ever had!

Pros: Runs extremely cool
Looks cool?

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have been using a Radeon HD4870 for a few years and I bought this card for my wife's computer 7 months ago because hers couldn't handle Battlefield Bad Company 2. My 4870 couldn't handle Battlefield 3 at 1680x1050 resolution so I swapped cards with her and now I can run BF3 at full resolution with medium-high settings and it runs great!

While I was using the 4870 the fan on the top of my tower would blow warm air if I was using the computer at all and when I played games it would blow some pretty hot air. This card blows cool air unless I start playing Battlefield 3 and then it just blows room temperature air, still a bit cool to the touch!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome- Very Happy

Pros: Easy Install. Drivers auto downloaded and updated. Runs every game so far beautifully at 1080p with Max'd settings.

Cons: Should have bought one sooner.

Other Thoughts: This card is awesome. I could not be happier with my purchase. Literally installed it in my tower, powered up, and it auto installed and updated everything needed. I dont play SUPER brand new and SUPER high end games... but i have thrown some pretty demanding games at this card, and it handles then all perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card, for my first build. We'll see how it holds up. Went from playing simple games like Heroes of Newerth at 20fps low settings, to stunningly clear settings at almost max fps. Stays very cool

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsUpgrading!

Pros: Super little card. Got it to upgrade my father-in-laws 3 yr old Intel Dual Core Dell. He was convinced he needed a new computer. After adding 2 more Gb to the motherboard and this card for a total of 170 bucks, it was working great for an 84 yr old guy who plays minesweeper...and checks his email. Then he went out and got a new quad-core for 400 bucks so I inherited this one as an extra. The card went in slick, no hiccups no problems. Booted great. Windows updated Catalyst Control Center perfectly. This card is already cheaper than I paid last week with no rebate. Deadly quiet. Didn't have to upgrade the stock 375 watt PSU but I don't run it on dual mode so doing that MIGHT make you need a new PSU. Gave me a 7.2 and 7.3 on the Windows experience index for video. Can't beat that on a 3 yr old Dell. I figure for the price, not having to upgrade other components, ease of installation, and performance, I seriously can't beat it. I have another Sapphire video card, that+reviews sold it

Cons: Went down in price right after I bought it! Took up the slot where the tv tuner card was right next to it but I didn't figured I'd use that anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsGot it for Bitcoin GPU mining

Pros: I got this to turn up my hash rate on bitcoin over my old Nivida 9800+. it's great! I get about 175 mH/s now..

Cons: The GPU mining was a little difficult to setup..but just uninstalling the software & reinstall made it work.

Other Thoughts: I want to run this in crossfire

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: The card is stable. I have had no issues with it. Some games run much better that when I was using on-board (Radeon HD 5750) video outputs for my two monitors. The Windows Graphics score went up from 4.6 to 7.3, but I don't really see much difference for common Windows tasks.

Cons: It is not very clear which software really needs to be installed. For most of us Windows 7 users, I think that the answer is that none of it is really needed - Windows will find the drivers by itself, and the rest is not necessary.
