5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: I've had this card since late 2010 and it continues to play high end games at max setting. Purchased this as part of a budget build PC and surprising feeling no need to upgrade to keep up with the games.

Cons: N/A

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic card

Pros: I've been using this card for two years with no issue. This is an awesome card! It will play a lot of games at max settings, and the newer games at near max. If you want, you can even OC this card (but it gets hot, you will need to manually adjust the fan speed). People say this is an outdated card, yeah that may be true but it's still going STRONG!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic for my first build

Pros: I've always been computer savvy but had never built a complete rig until now. Video Cards were always evolving so I chose one that matched the specs of my board and was at a price point I could afford. This card has been able to run Skyrim at full resolution on my Samsung 46" LED TV (it's my monitor) I also watch MLB.tv using my computer which plays flawlessly without skipping frames. At the time of purchase it was one of the only cards with an HDMI output that wasn't above $300. I see a ton of complaints about heat... for this you probably need to increase the airflow within your case. I haven't had any issues with the drivers or Catalyst control center either. I think too many people jump to the conclusion the card is faulty when realistically it's their lack of knowledge... just saying. This card is currently/permanently out of stock but I would recommend a similar version if you were on a budget. If money isn't an issue or you can spare some cash buy an EVEGA card.

Cons: Out of stock and doesn't make sandwiches

Other Thoughts: Covered all of them in the pros section.

2 out of 5 eggsOverheating

Pros: Low price, prettty good $/Performance.

Cons: Very high temperature with the stock cooling.

Other Thoughts: AMD's throttling feature can be very annoying. If it sees that you have a web browser up it'll throttle your clock speeds down, even if you have a game playing.

I've had this card for a year to this day and it's hitting 98 degrees Celsius when playing Darklight Retribution, which forces me to shut my computer off for fear of the card harming itself.

Even with fan speed at 100%, my idle temperature is 50-60C which is obsurd.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality card

Pros: Plays games like TF 2, Counter Strike: Source and Minecraft on Max settings, no problem. Not sure you're going to run into a game where you can't play on at least high settings. Have yet to experience a single problem with it.

Cons: I've tried this card in two different cases and each one it was some-what of a pain to get it to sit properly. Needed a bit of force and thats always a scary thing when dealing with computer hardware.

3 out of 5 eggsgood card, but buggy software. more details

Pros: good card works with my modded oblivion without loosing many frames.

since amd took over it supports eyefinity.

Cons: once AMD took ATI over they made some realy buggy software to come with it. had to delete as much ati stuff as i could without deleting the driver to keep it from blue screening or lock-up. (delete as much ati program files as u can).

Other Thoughts: also the new catalyst center automaticly overclocks ur cards weather u want it to or not thus voiding the warrenty. thank you AMD. i spent for ever figuring out why my video was spazing out with the sliteced mouse movment, so went in to the controle center and found everything maxed out. turned them to normal and it works fine now.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a bad card.

Pros: It's fast as heck, and hasn't failed me yet. Currently running one DVI monitor at 1680x1050 and another DVI at 1024x768.

Cons: AMD can't just give you the drivers, they force you to get a whole suite of fancy doodads and options that I've never used. This may be an issue with Windows too, so it's not major enough to take eggs off for.

Other Thoughts: I regret not buying two before Newegg discontinued it, because it doesn't look like they'll restock it. Oh well, there are other places on the internet to get it.

5 out of 5 eggsSapphire 5770

Pros: Great price, great starter card. Easy to install. The 5770 series might not be ATI's flagship card but the 5770 is affordable and can play any game on high settings. I've used this card to play Rift, Black Ops, Skyrim, Fable 3, Borderlands, and many more one high+ settings without even having to overclock. It's quite and a great card

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Due to my great experience with Radeon for the past two years of pumping out graphics with this card, I wll never go to NVIDIA. ATI/AMD for life

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Price.
Will play any game out there.

Cons: Getting to be an old card.
Will play any game out there, on medium - high settings.

Other Thoughts: This was purchased to supplement an existing 5770.
