5 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: I am still using this card as of today, finally upgrading after 4 years but the fact that I have never had any problems with this card for 4 years speaks for itself. I've overclocked and put this card to the test with some higher end games, and its performed pretty well considering its old age

Cons: Never washed my dishes

Other Thoughts: All in all, I have no thing bad to say about this card. Its irrelevant compared to the cards that are out today. But still something I can see using in a poor mans build (although a lot of onboard gpus are better nowadays"

4 out of 5 eggsStill going strong after 4 years.

Pros: I've had it since 2010, and it's still running quite strong, although less than when I first got it, but I think that's pretty normal. I received it for Christmas, and even now, I'm still happy that I got it. Just bought a used HD 5750 to CrossFireX, and it's even better when combined. I will change it for a GTX 970 or 980 this winter, since I'm looking for a serious gamer graphics card.

Cons: The only problem I have with it is that it's heating up pretty badly. Idle isn't terrible, but when gaming, it goes up to 91°C, and I have a really well ventilated case (NZXT Phan-001WT).

Other Thoughts: Great graphics card, did it's job for 4 years, and I'm sure it could keep going for at least 2 more years with no problems, just be sure to keep it clean, as dust get stuck inside.

3 out of 5 eggs4 Years old

Pros: Good cost at the time. Good performance then.

Cons: Shotty drivers, Colored vertical bars of death even in normal operating temps. I am talking 63c.

Other Thoughts: I know the card is 4 years old since I bought it. Only graphics demanding game I play is Payday on low settings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat old card

Pros: Great card for as old as long as I had it, it still plays games at high setting with decent fps 30-40 fps in ESO. I'm replacing it to upgrade and giving it to my sister.

Cons: AMD CCC is a mess.

Other Thoughts: Get this card if you don't game to much.

1 out of 5 eggsdidnt last as long as I thought it should

Pros: Worked great for almost two years with very little use

Cons: I dont use this for gamming much, other than a few games on steam, I mostly use my computer to watch TV. Its not over clocked and very litte hard use and it only lasted two years. The reson I bought this was that it had HDMI output so I could hook it directly to my tv and if i wanted to play a game i could use it in a respectable setting that didnt look like claymation. I dont like throwaway products and this seems like one.

4 out of 5 eggsWhy not?

Pros: Got this with a bundle build and for two years it did me proud. Ran (unmodded) Skyrim at ultra-high and didn't have any hiccups with almost any game. Just used it the other day and it happily ran Assassin's Creed III at max settings. *tear*

Cons: Modded Skyrim had some real problems and I had some concerns about it running the newer more demanding games coming up in late 2013.

Other Thoughts: It's not going to shake the earth. It's a fantastic affordable starter card, but if you're going to invest I would up the ante.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years and still running strong

Pros: Has kept up with the current games on high if not maxed out settings and performs like a champ. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one last year and finally set up CrossFire.

Cons: Bulky! I had to take my sound card out to get the CrossFire setup to work. Also, it was hard to get it past the hard drive dock at the front of my (large) case.

Other Thoughts: Glad I picked up a second for CrossFire before it got discontinued.

1 out of 5 eggsFairly Decent but fail

Pros: Performs decently well on all games. You can play pretty much anything but not at the max settings.

Cons: I cannot upgrade my drivers past revision 11. If i go to revision 12 or 13 Directx games don't get displayed properly. I have tried windows 7, a full wipe and fresh driver install. I have tried to upgrade to Windows 8 and tried multiple drivers. I have tried a fresh install of Windows 8 with multiple drivers. I cannot upgrade my drivers. I believe it is an issue with the card but XFX hasn't been really much help.

Other Thoughts: I see that my card came with a double lifetime warranty but it is pretty worthless at this point since I cannot upgrade my drivers. I could probably eek out a little more performance and life out of this card if I had that option. I am pretty positive that there is something wrong with my card, a defect of some sort but with this experience I don't think I will purchase an XFX card again.

Manufacturer Response:

Thank you for your review but unfortunately you are talking about an XFX product but you have placed on a SAPPHIRE product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card!

Pros: I've had this card since late 2010 and it continues to play high end games at max setting. Purchased this as part of a budget build PC and surprising feeling no need to upgrade to keep up with the games.

Cons: N/A
