5 out of 5 eggsGood Card for Two Monitors

Pros: No fan noise. I like the ATI Control Catalyst. Easy to Overclock. Is working perfectly for a two monitor set up. I don't game all that much, but it seems it would work decently.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This card was really inexpensive so I gave it five eggs. If it were more expensive I would rate it three, but based on the value and "bang for buck" 55555!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat of office use or MCPC

Pros: Silent
Low Cost
Small for it's purpose
Dual DVI

Cons: It does get hot under load, but not too bad.

Other Thoughts: I use these cards mainly for office use with dual monitor computers. We see video fans failing a LOT, so a fanless solution is optimal. In the office we don't put these cards under heavy load, so there is not that much heat. If zero noise is a must, this is the best card on the market today.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for basic (quiet) system

Pros: Obviously - QUIET (totally silent, ie no fan). Heat sink comes over the top of the card which is great as it doesn't cover the PCI slots below (especially appreciated in microatx case). Card is perfect for basic quiet system, dual monitor capable (2xDVI) and will handle any video apart from high end gaming (watching dvd's, hd streaming online, photoshop etc). For those who are curious, scores about 4k in 3dMark06, Sempron 2.7Ghz, 2GB 800Mhz RAM. In microatx cas, definitely need 80mm rear case fan (temp around 47-52C after running 3dMark06) without rear case fan always in high 60's under load. Temp usually around 39-41 idle. At $40 with free shipping, a great deal.

Cons: None (if you use the card for the performance level it is intended).

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: New Egg was great on shipping got them in 2 days :) Price is cheep, run ok-ish for a mid-range card.

Cons: This card Runs super hot even with the 6 case fans :( Got them to replace a couple old g-force 7600's actualy lost performance in win 7 desk top and in gamming *sigh*

Other Thoughts: Ill put thoes in parents machines will be good for them.. re-ordered a couple XFX 4770's should be here tomarrow and will see how they go :)

3 out of 5 eggsA Toaster

Pros: Slick looking, price, fast Egg shipping.

Cons: This is a real heater. Top of radiator almost untouchable. Running Ubuntu 10.4 on a Opty x4 with 4 gig of ram. Not a gamer. Good case ventilation a must.

3 out of 5 eggsSlow 300mhz memory

Pros: Good video playback, fanless and silent

Cons: Uses cheap 300mhz ddr2 ram. Every other card I've seen with ddr2 is clocked at 400mhz. I tried to overclock this to match, but started getting artifacts at 370mhz.

Other Thoughts: I had thought this card would be comparable to my 9500gt since they cost about the same. Boy was I wrong! The 9500gt is 53% faster in Doom 3, and 31% faster in Street Fighter IV. The 9500gt has standard 400mhz ddr2, is also fanless, and cost $5 more from Newegg.

4 out of 5 eggsairflow w/o moving parts

Pros: Like my gForce, when placed in a tower, plume of heated air rising of this pulls cool air thru heatpipe fins.

Cons: MoBos are DDR3 fast RAM, why only DDR2 on this?

Other Thoughts: Can try leaving off slot cover next to fins, might run even cooler.
