1 out of 5 eggsDead Out of the Box

Pros: Makes a pretty paperweight.

Cons: Tango Uniform right out of the box. I bought this in 2010, but couldn't install it because the power supply I'd bought for the system I was building at the time didn't work either. April 2015, finally picked up some brand-new hardware and took my pretty Sapphire video card out of the box, and it was DOA.

Other Thoughts: Sapphire is on my list, and it's not my Christmas card list. Never again!

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: When it worked, it was an amazing card. Ran Aion and FFXIV very very well. Great frame rates during Sieges in Aion and great rates in XIV in a populated area.

Cons: Unfortunately the card died about 2 1/2 weeks of use, Waiting on RMA, gave it a 3 star because NewEgg rocks with RMA's.

Signs of it going down hill are:
1) decreased Frame rates for absolutely no reason.
2) causes multimedia(Games, Videos, Pictures and occasionally Surfing the web which might seem like a Website/ISP issue) to freeze for a set amount of time and then recovers after 3-10minutes.
3) programs in general opening up abnormally slow.

When you start to notice Programs opening very slow for no reason at all is when you should put you're old card in to test and start considering an RMA.

Other Thoughts: Overall, it was/is a great card but with the 5870's being so close price wise, I wouldn't spend money on this card unless you really want the 2gb ram for CFX.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card so far

Pros: I will write a follow up later as I have only run this card for a few weeks. Runs all may games at 100 percent, not very loud at all. Does get hotter after a few hours of playing Boarderlands at full everything, but no problems unless I have my other monitor active. I recommend you turn off all non active displays unless you have a game that uses them. No crashes, smooth graphics. Maybe I will get another soon to run in Xfire. No need to yet however.

Cons: Fancy Cover faces down so all that Jazz is for nothing. No real cons yet.

Other Thoughts: Unless it lemons on me I am very satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsNothing but good!

Pros: Lightning fast on my new system! Popped in F.E.A.R 2, the game auto selected max settings, and I was stunned at how awesome everything looked! Frame rates were off the chart and everything played sooo smoothly!

Cons: This card is HUGE!(But most decent cards are these days). I installed this card last on my system, and ran into space issues with it hitting the SATA power cable for my hard drive, as well as it narrowly missing my RAM.

Other Thoughts: So far this card feels like it's worth the money. I tossed around getting a 5770, but after many reviews, I'm happy with this far. (knock on wood)
System specs:
AMD Phenom 6x 1100T
Asus M4A89GTD Pro/ USB
8 gigs RAM- G.skill Ripsaw PC16000
Windows 7 Home 64-bit

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Video Card

Pros: -Very Good Performance
-Runs very cool

Cons: -Pricey
-QA issues

Other Thoughts: Would recommend the card to anyone though I have had a few issues with the build quality of these cards. Overall they are very well built and very solid cards with an attractive shroud and backplate. I had one of these when I first built my new computer and have just recently purchased my 2nd one to run in a crossfire configuration.

The 2nd card I ordered was DOA, basically the computer would still boot properly and windows was fine but any game was unplayable or would cause a crash. After receiving the replacement it worked like a charm but I have found that my original card must have a faulty ball bearing or something in the fan assembly as the fan makes a buzzing sound (like it is lightly touching a surface) under heavy load.

I never heard this before with the single card as the fan never had to operate at higher rpms, but as is inherent in crossfire setups the 2nd card now blocks a lot of the natural airflow for the top card. Not a big deal as this can be fixed though.

4 out of 5 eggsWicked, when it works

Pros: It's smooth and graphics are great. Handles all my games with the highest settings.

Cons: It seems to lock up every hour or so for about 10 seconds and then recovers. It may be a temp issue, but I haven't gotten that much into it. I bought two of these cards and one of them would lock up completely. I tried every driver out there and I would get "The driver has stopped working and has recovered" but then it would just completely die and I'd have to hard boot.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to RMA the one card and hopefully the new one will work as good as the other one I have. If you keep getting that pop-up after the screen goes blank, you may need a new card. Once again, I just popped my other card in right out of the box and was able to play all my games w/only the 10 second lock up every once in a while.

5 out of 5 eggsDOMINATES!

Pros: Seems to run most high end games on full settings with crisp and clear FPS.

Installed Fallout: New Vegas and the "Detect Hardware" automatically set me to Ultra Quality.

Keeps under 60c even in high gaming.

Cons: Didn't come with a kitten.

Other Thoughts: If you can afford it, GET IT!

Be sure to get a full tower to allow plenty of air flow.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card for the money.

Cons: The blue outline doesn't glow and such like cool things should.

Other Thoughts: Keep a good credit score, that way when you WANT two but can AFFORD one, you can finance one of em :P

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Runs everything at ultra settings, wow, sc2, f.o. etc! Keeps cool too at a consistent 40-60c. Nice upgrade abilities too with crossfire for the future.

Cons: Huge but other than that it does everything I need and more.
