5 out of 5 eggs1yr and still screaming

Pros: Awesome! Been using for a year now with all game settings maxed out with 1090T Black Ed AMD cpu@4200mhz & 8g ram @2207mhz
I run 3) 28" monitors.

Cons: Cannot find another one to crossfire em :(
Not that I need it, but like to be prepared for the future games.
Imagine 8gig v-cards :)

Other Thoughts: Adapter for the mini port at your local Bumble Bee electronics store for under $15 (apple computer area)

3 out of 5 eggsfewer parts list than video reviews

Pros: Well Built

Cons: All of the unboxing videos, text reviews and photo reviews of this item brag of an active mini-displayport to DVI adapter included in the packaging. Yet, these overpriced kits sold to Newegg DO NOT INCLUDE IT. It is obvious the oversized componet box-within-the-box was meant to include it. When I called Sapphire about it, they said "What adapters"???? "We have never included them with this item".

Other Thoughts: Buy the non toxic, and over-clock it yourself, as others are doing. The build is the same. Without an active adapter, this package is not worth the price. Shame on Sapphire for shorting Newegg customers.

5 out of 5 eggsDream Card!!!

Pros: Can play any game maxed out!!!Really maxed out!!!Runs cool and quiet, so far no artifacts in 2d or 3d.

Cons: Three slot design but that was necessary...

Other Thoughts: My 3d mark not changed much( just by 400 points) over HIS 5970 i got 25400+ but frame rate is insane in games and I got one, you don't..I got before 2 HIS 5970 in crossfire but despite 1200w power supply I had power surges? and system would shut down now no problem at all.I have i7-920 oc to 3.8 ghz and I am thinking of buying i7 six core cpu but what to tell my wife???

5 out of 5 eggsOK, so I got one.

Pros: If I could design a video card this is the one I would have put together. Great cooling, extra frame buffer, dual-GPU, and overclocked out of the box. Nice, perfect, Toxic. My family plays games like Crysis, Bioshock, Assasins Creed, Dirt2, among others. They all look sooooo pretty with everything turned up or maxed out.

Cons: Con1: The price. Ouch. A guy's gotta be nuts to spend this much on a PC part. Oh well, guess what I did with my tax return? I would have been happy with the standard clocked model and save a few bucks.
Con2: Drivers, they are working pretty good, only the occasional artifact. Not enough to drop an egg. But Nvidia spoiled me. Hope ATI's drivers continue to improve. I always install the latest.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my ageing pair of 8800GTX's in SLI which I used to power my Dell 30". I held out until now to make the upgrade worth while. This is the first single-card to come along that is a match for my monitor. Because of the design features I mentioned in the Pros I saw no reason to wait for the Nvidia 495's to come out. After playing with this for a week I am tickled to own it. Thanks Sapphire for designing my dream card. I feel lucky to have snagged one.

5 out of 5 eggsVERY NICE CARD

Pros: 01: 4GB DDR5 video memory
02: default 900 Mhz core
03: dual 5970 CT chips
04: can reach 1000 core
05:trust me, supper nice cooler, 37C normal, 57C full load
06: length is less than normal 5970 (a little bit)
07: internal crossfire enabled, stable than two PCIE setup
08: it is a single card

Cons: 01: very nice cooler, but!!@@!@#$@#it will take you three slot out =.=, very huge cooler. I think we don't need the cooler like this, waste me a slot, I have to take a add-on card out, pain!!
02: may be price, you add 200 or 300 hundreds you can get a 5970 (725 Mhz core) 2GB crossfire set up, but for me, it is best! My goal is 5970 4GB + 280 GTX SSC PhysX ^ ^.
03: SAPPHIRE does not provide any software tools for tweak.

Other Thoughts: Use it with a 30' HD monitor, running everything nice on 2560 * 1600 set up. I think ATI need to work very hard to improve their driver, right now is ok, but I may expect more performance improvement in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsToxic Madness - Continued

Pros: Fast...Really Fast...Did I mention this thing is FAST? Make sure you read the "other thoughts" section on installation.

Ok...I've had the card installed for two days...computers been running non-stop since. Ran a few benchmarks, 3DMark Score 20409 3DMarks, Sandra 610.25 Mpixels. Also fired up Fallout 3, "Ultra" setting for graphics, Increased-Increased Spawns with Marts Mutant Mod, and runs very smooth. Graphic's quality is amazing.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is one big card! I mentioned in my first review that I have an Antec Three Hundred Mid-Size tower case. It's a big case, not as big as a full tower, but I have several cases and it's of a decent size. But even still, I had to modify the case by cutting a 3/4 inch deep, 2.5 " long notch in the drive bay support frame to allow the length of this card to fit. (5-minute job). Note that this still allows 4 drive bays to be fully accessible. The card itself measures approx. 2 - 2.5 inches longer than my ASUS 4850.

5 out of 5 eggsToxic Madness

Pros: Received my Toxic 4GB card yesterday via. FedEx. Quick inspection last night and it was delivered as described, complete with adapters, game coupons, software and in excelllent protective packaging. Note that I also had to order a new powersupply for this monster (850 watts) for a single card and (1200 watts) for Crossfire. Should have everything installed tonight and will run some benchmarks. Note that this card is replacing twin ATI 4850's (crossfire). For those that care... gaming rig specs are as follows... ASUS P5Q-PRO, E8400 @ 4.2GHz, 4GB G-Skill-Ripjaw DDR2-1200, Antech 850 PS, WD Raptor 150GB, WD 1TB, Antech Three Hundred Case.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: More to come...
