5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: Got it when it was on sale and with rebate. It's working fine and is decent with games. The temperature stays pretty cool in my case.

Cons: None so far.

2 out of 5 eggs(Redo review)For what ever price the card is now, there are better GPUs than this

Pros: -very quiet, my psu fan is louder
-maxing out settings on gpu doesn't ramp up the fan during video playback
-ability to play L4D2 on higher than average settings
-hdmi output is a plus and so is low profile ability

Cons: -sapphire rendition of the 4650 architecture is the lowest of the 4650 line up due to 64 bit process and ddr2 memory
-during rebate periods this would be a great buy; however, after 2 months of waiting on my end, they labeled my rebate status with "missing signed rebate form, upc barcode, proof of purchase" thus declining my claim for rebate, I'm sorry but with all that missing in an envelope is unacceptable, I even scanned the completed rebate form prior to mailing it

Other Thoughts: -Important: always assume the price prior to rebate is the real price, and if they ship you the rebate back, consider it a plus
-If I was looking for a competitor card with more bang for buck, look only for 128 bit and higher

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was on sale when I bought it... so after rebates it was about the price of an Andrew Jackson. Additionally it overclocks easily (with the catalyst drivers from ati). It also runs very cool, and has very lean power requirements.

Cons: This is not a gaming board. This has 64 bit memory access and is running DDR2 memory. Do not do anything but the lightest gaming on this video card. You will be disappointed.

Other Thoughts: My Media PC has a very light CPU ( by light I mean slow as molassis ). I watch MKV videos on my TV, and up until recently had no problem playing them. Then the 1080p videos starting showing up and gave me numerous hickups. It was time for hardware assisted video accerlation. After plugging this card in... the 1080p videos are playing with no hassles. Exactly what's supposed to happen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for htpc

Pros: Was on sale and had to snatch it up for my HTPC. Came with low profile brackets and has HDMI out.

Cons: Not going to knock off an egg because I did read but this 4650 is slower than other 4650's because this one has DDR2 and a 64-bit memory bus. Other 4650's have GDDR3 or DDR3 and a 128-bit memory bus. Just make sure to READ the product name as it says this is DDR2 and 64-bit.

Other Thoughts: Running in an HP SFF with an E8400, 4GB DDR3, and this 4650.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Low profile, HDMI out, cool and quit

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: Worked exactly as intended. I built a new HTPC and needed a small, low profile, relatively fast, HDMI out video card - this fit the bill perfect (also got it as a shell shocker)

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Fits in Small form factor case with low power supply requirements. Runs in a Dell Optiplex 755 - 745 - 765 with PCI x16 2.0 slot no trouble. Fits nice, This power supply was only 280w max and worked flawlessly

Cons: 512mb ram insufficient to drive a monitor at 2560x1440 resolution, needs 1gb

Other Thoughts: good cheap card. Fast enough for everyday use

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget choice

Pros: Gets power from PCI-E slot - no need for power connection.
Good choice for budget/non-graphic intensive systems where you still want a dedicated graphic card.
Price can't be beat after rebate.

Cons: If you're realistic about what you're buying, what you're using it for and what to expect from it then there are no cons to speak of.

Other Thoughts: Comes with a nice Powered by Sapphire sticker.

4 out of 5 eggsRuns well in 5yr old Dell PC

Pros: price (AR: twenty)

quiet. Fan is normally at 39%

cool: when idle - about 44 C. While playing game about 55-60 C

Cons: rebate that takes 8 weeks to get it

Other Thoughts: Runs well in 5yr Dell PC with 250/300 watt power supply and only PCI Express x16 v1.0 support (card is v2.0).

Windows 7 32bit system index for graphic and gaming graphics increased from 2.2/4.0 to 4.0/6.0.

Jerky 3D game that my daughter played is a lot smoother now.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and low profile

Pros: I got it for 36$ and had a 15$ mail-in rebate. You can't get any other 4650 or virtually any decent card for that price. I bought it for my girlfriend's computer and it was a huge improvement over the Radeon HD 2100 of the onboard card ;)

Cons: Not so fast for a 4650. Not sure about the long-term durability of the fan.

Other Thoughts: Good upgrade from onboard graphics. It's a low profile card AND the brackets are included in the box, so no problem for really small form factor case.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great Price.... very quiet.... easy to install
and the rebate...... does not seem to run hot

a cooling fan but for that price..... comman

Other Thoughts: This is the frist sapphire I have ever owned and
so far so good.
