5 out of 5 eggsPowerful, dependable, amazing

Pros: I installed this in July of 2011...and have just installed it in my new gaming build. No problems or driver issues, ever. I've played a huge variety of games on high settings and never had a problem; streamed high-definition video to my HD TV while also running my monitor--everything was cake.

If only all graphics cards were this low maintenance. I believe I still have quite a run of life before software catches up with it's performance.

Cons: Huge (size). Barely fits into my ATX mid-tower build.

Other Thoughts: This card is one of the highest value tech purchases I've ever made.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost two years going strong

Pros: I bought two of these two years ago and set them up in crossfire and they have handled everything thrown at them in that time. Originally I didn't even bother with seeing if they could unlock to 6970s etc since many people said they did not.

Cons: Power consumption is pretty high in crossfire but you know this ahead of time.

Other Thoughts: I recently decided to take a look at the cards last week and noticed they had the dual bios switch - switched them both and unlocked the 6970 shaders. Decided to then flash them both with 6970 bios (from a sapphire flex 6970) and both took instantly with winflash. Then I just had to up the gpu clock and memory clock to match the 6970s and increased power adjustment to +20% in Catalyst and they are running as 6970s in xfire. Beasts. Running 3 1080p 23inch monitors in max eyefinity and still getting framerates in the 100s with max settings on all games (haven't played bf4 beta yet).

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: Bought this earlier in the year as a replacement for SLI'd EVGA 550ti's that were overheating. This card is a monster. Has the dual bios switch and unlocks shaders to 6970 specs. I'm running unlocked shaders on normal clocks and haven't had any hiccups. Maxes on Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite, Guild Wars 2... I could keep going. The card is quiet and stays cool. 550's were running 90/85 and this card never breaks 60.

Cons: None. It's too bad I can't score a deal on another one.

Other Thoughts: Would love to Crossfire with another one. There wouldn't be any need to upgrade my system for some years.

5 out of 5 eggsLove Eyefinity

Pros: I got this card because I wanted to set up an Eyefinity system. I have three Dell 24" monitors. It works great. The system has been running great for over a year now.

Cons: None that I have found.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, no firmware switch

Pros: This card has handled flawlessly since I got it. I have no had any artifacts, screen tearing or the such since install.

-AMD drivers have improved a lot over the last couple years!
-AMD's lead in hardware specs has decreased sadly

Cons: Does not have the dual firmware switch. I know many people are looking for this to flash it to a 6970.
I believe this model does have a high success rate with the flash, but it does not have the switch, so you risk bricking.

Other Thoughts: The card does not get as hot as many of the previous cards I have had.

-Its a long card, make sure your memory, case or drives are not getting in the way. But, you should know that if your looking at a card like this!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Unlocks easy as can be
Great overclocker
Dual fan cooler design

Once I unlocked the card I simply used Sapphire Trixx to overclock it to 6970 settings and went from there. Currently running 900/1380/1.150v!

6970 performance for 560Ti price!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: To anyone buying this card: Unlock using the ATI-winflash/RBE bios modification method! If you search for 'Guru3d Sapphire 6950 Dirt 3 unlock' you can find a very good guide on how to do this.

Modify the shaders in RBE and you'll be laughing.

Efficient from my testing..

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast card!
I was able to unlock extra shaders, but flashing to 6970 gave me errors. (Remember to flip the switch on the card when trying to flash). Still, it's easy enough to overclock it to get what you want.

Running Skyrim on Ultra on 1920x1080.

Cons: Card is long, which could be a problem for smaller cases. It was not for my CM Storm Enforcer, especially after I removed the extra hard drive cage.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Everything I throw at it

Pros: Great FPS on every game I have used it on (so far). Sharders unlocked with the flip of the BIOS switch, which the poster before must have not noticed. Built a new machine to replace my 2005 comp... and I must say what a difference!

Cons: Like many people before have mentioned the card is quite large which I was a little concerned about. However, it fit into my Antec 900 with an extra inch and a half of space from the drive bay.

Other Thoughts: When it comes back in stock it's a great card!
