2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: worked out ok at the beginning, but when i started playing a few games Battlefield 3 and WoW it had problems

Cons: when playing Games like WoW and Battlefield 3 i had to reduce the graphics setting to around mid setting or lower due to lag and choppy graphics

4 out of 5 eggsNice product for Sapphire

Pros: Handle's Any PC Game Attempted to play.

Cons: Tried To Overclock this And did not have any luck, Memory Rams tend to get hotter than expected.

Other Thoughts: Adequate Cooling Could Possibly make this card perform much better.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: Good performance for the price. Quality product.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This card does what I need it to do. It has handled everything I've thrown at it with ease. I use it for HD video editing, watching HD movies, and a little gaming. Not had any issues with it whatsoever. Have owned it 6 months so far. No need for me to upgrade yet. Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsBang achieved per buck

Pros: Well, for starters.
Decent card. I enjoy playing most games on High-Max settings. I've had to turn down Max Payne 3 a smidge [Triple-buffered vsync is a waste], and I usually crank up the Antistropic filtering to max and only toss 2 or 4x antialiasing. The drivers were easy as pie to install, and it runs nice and cool. Just blow it our with some air every few weeks and it'll lasts longer than your car.

Cons: 2GB would have been nice, but I'm the one who tossed my dollars at it, aren't I?

Other Thoughts: The 7870 is absolutely worth it, and is this card's successor in every way [even price!]. If you look up how well the 6870 excels when put into CrossfireX mode, it blows the competition out of the water.

5 out of 5 eggsEGGCELLENT CARD!!!

Pros: Great quality, speed, and versatility

Cons: HUGE card!!! absolutely HUGE! had struggles installing it. in fact it took me about 15 tries. this is also partly due to a cheap MOBO and poor PCI slot placement on Accer's behalf but still a challenge

Other Thoughts: I WISH I WOULDA BOUGHT 2!!!

4 out of 5 eggsSAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870

Pros: Plays modern games smoothly at medium to high settings, but do not expect to be able to run games at max settings without a noticeable FPS hit.
Reasonably quiet fan even at higher temps
Stays relatively cool, heat has never been an issue for me with this card.

Cons: Bought this card with plans to get a second one and crossfire. Unfortunately micro-stutter in crossfire is an issue with this series.

Other Thoughts: HD 6870's are no longer in production, and the prices now are higher than when I first purchased one a year and a half ago. If you can find one for less than $160 though, go for it, it can still keep up with games these days if you don't need maximum eye candy.

1 out of 5 eggsFaulty Card

Pros: Card was amazing for the 2 months that it worked. Ran perfect. Had no problems.

Cons: Alright, So I got the card on December 9th or so, card ran like a beauty, but 2 months later, it died. It died out on me yesterday (2/8/13) and I have no idea what happened. I ran a game, got to the login screen, went away from keyboard and when I got back there were purple vertical lines going down my screen. When I rebooted my PC I got to the point right before the login screen but it just sits there, with a black screen, and my cursor (which I can move around). Ctrl + Alt + Delete doesn't work. And it is very weird because the card works when A.) In safe mode and B.) When the drivers are uninstalled. I'm using my 6670 right now so I know its not the mother board or anything. I need to return the card now...

Other Thoughts: Good card while it lasted, but I need a new one now.
