4 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Doesn't need a separate power connection
Relatively quiet
Smells new

Cons: Can't run Euro Truck Sim 2 on highest settings, but certainly not a deal-breaker
Wasn't free
Had to wait almost 30 hours before it was delivered!

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a Sapphire Radeon 4650 HD because Skyrim was jittery. Well, it ain't now! Very satisfied, especially since I didn't have to spend another $50 or so on a new power supply. I will be spending the weekend shooting guards in the knee at 60fps.

5 out of 5 eggsJust right

Pros: For a card that does not require extra connections from the power supply, it handles moderate gaming with ease. I'd be hesitant if you are a serious gamer to purchase this card but for my use it operates my use without problem. Replaced my GTS 250 which I had for several years and I can really distinguish the difference. Very pleased.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsMore than I expected

Pros: 7.4 for both Windows Experience Index. Seriously outperforms my other PC With GeForce 9800GT in Star Trek Online, Age of Empires III, Age of Empires Online, Sims 3. Also blows it away in Open GL performance in Sketchup 3D modeling. This card is much more powerful than I expected and it didn't require a power supply upgrade in tandem. It also runs cool under full load. Having been using onboard HDMI with no fan, I don't notice an increase in noise. The onboard HDMI works for me and I have no problems. It also runs cool under full load. I couldn't be happier.

Cons: The cooler could be smaller thus the card could get away with just a single slot. At 850mhz I don't plan on overclocking so I can't imagine this thing generating any heat.

Other Thoughts: This card brought new life into an aging system. Athlon 64 X2 4800+ @ 2.75ghz on an Asus M2A-VM. This PCI-E 3.0 card works great in this boards old 1.0 slot until I upgrade those components.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away.

Pros: Everything works except.... (see CONS)

Cons: HDMI out non functional. Video is screwy and no audio.

Other Thoughts: I was using a Sapphire 6750 before with no problems. Thought going to a 7 series would be great, but no more HDMI.

Manufacturer Response:

Your card should not be performing as you describe.

As you are upgrading from a previous card please can you try uninstalling your drivers completely and running a driver cleaner to make sure there are no parts of the old drivers remaining.

If this does not work then we would recommend you to RMA your card.

5 out of 5 eggsFAST card, Low Power needed!

Pros: Very Fast video card for the price. Great for low wattage power supplies. Does not need large six pin power connection. Just the PCI slot will do it all. Small size card fit well in small cases.

Cons: None I can see.

Other Thoughts: Works my three LCD screens perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I just got this card today and all the games so far run great at high settings. It's extremely efficient and powerful for it's price and great for low end computers that don't have a higher wattage stock power supply.

Cons: It took a week to deliver (not much of a con). The fan for the heatsink seems to be pointing the wrong direction as well as it's blowing hot air back into the system instead of out (kinda weird considering it had an extra slot for the air to escape.

Other Thoughts: If the heatsink was designed to utilize the extra slot they allocated for the card, then it would make sense why they had it in the first place. Otherwise the slot seems somewhat wasteful to me as there really was no need for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but HDMI?

Pros: The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead all run on high graphics automatically.

Cons: Minecraft runs at a very low framerate (20-40 FPS) and HDMI will not work. After searching the Sapphire tech site, I could not find a fix to either problem.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good buy. Had the HDMI worked and Minecraft had a bit higher of a framerate, I would have given 5 stars. Shipped fast, works great. Just upgraded from a Radeon HD 3850.

5 out of 5 eggsGaming for the HTPC

Pros: Works like a charm. No issues with drivers or firmware so far. Drivers on the CD are doing the trick so far. 3Dmark 11 score was in the high 2600's. Temps in games around 53 degrees as others have reported.

Cons: None.
Wish they made a 2gb version.

Other Thoughts: Seems to be the best card I could fit in my Cooler Master 360 Elite case. There was no room for auxillary power cable to plug into the end of the card since its butted up to the power supply.
