Based on the breakthrough Graphics Core Next architecture comes the SAPPHIRE HD 7850 2GB GDDR5. Pragmatically priced, yet still offering a powerful performance, it offers a core clock of 860MHz and memory at 1200MHz (4.8Gb/s effective.) It also comes with dual BIOS and new multiple output configuration of DisplayPort, HDMI, Dual link DVI-I and Dual Link DVI-D.

Dual X, a new dual extractor technology, keeps it efficiently cool and low noise through two aerofoil fans with dust repelling bearings and multiple graduated heat pipes. This keeps the card quiet, cool and running optimally even while operating under extremely heavy load.

Immerse yourself in the 3D experience with AMD HD3D Technology, which supports High Definition Stereoscopic 3D when using 3D displays, software, or glasses.

Improve video playback on your computer and process your media content faster than ever before with the AMD HD Media Accelerator.

Enjoy other enhanced features, including AMD CrossFireX™ Multi-GPU Technology, PCI Express 3.0, AMD Eyefinity 2.0, Enhanced Multi-GPU Capabilities, Discrete Digital Multi-Point Audio, Best Microsoft DirectX11 Support, AMD Catalyst Control Center™, Dolby® TrueHD and DTSHD Master Audio™ Support, AMD PowerTune™ Technology, AMD App Acceleration, and much more.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome price to performance.

Pros: -Very fast for the overall cost of the card.
-Can be overclocked well.
-Doesn't overheat at high overclocks. (assuming the cooling is sufficient.)

Cons: -None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card a little over a year ago and have ran all sorts of games through it. It has never failed me once and has ran almost all my games at 1080p at 60+ frames. The exceptions are Battlefield 4, Far cry 3/4, but simply reducing the graphics slightly makes the games completely enjoyable and playable. 11/10.

2 out of 5 eggsHeat sink and fan

Pros: Everything about this product was great. The video quality, scaling, sound, speed, performance was 5/5

Cons: Heat sink literally fell off. So It turns out that there is nothing that connects the heat sink, the heat tubes, or the fans to the actual video card board... considering these three components make up the bulk of the weight and the only thing holding them together is some solder.

Other Thoughts: Bought the component around Thanksgiving '13 and the product literally "fell apart" mid May '14... for the price payed they need to have a better way of keeping their product together.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent card for the price

Pros: Fast, awesome graphics, perfect for gaming and video editing, stays cool with 2 fans, can be hooked up for dual-card setup, good on-sale price

Cons: initial setup and installation, the AMD Catalyst software is pretty lame and doesn't add anything, Sapphire takes months to ever get your rebate (and it's a pain)

Other Thoughts: Had a few issues after first installing this card in an ASUS Z87-Pro mobo. It was crashing and having all sorts of little issues. Finally worked everything out and now it's been working great for last 3 months.
My other complaint is how long it takes for the rebate from Sapphire - still waiting for it. But still 4 eggs overall.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat I was looking for!

Pros: Silent
Great Price
Good Performace
Plays at max graphics on most games

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: First, it is practically silent, which is a nice change for me. I have had it since Nov 2014 with no problems, and you can't beat the performance for the price. This being my second AMD card I must say, so far they have me becoming a believer. I know I am late to the show, but I was an Nivida Fan Boy for awhile.

I bought the card to replace an older model Radeon( 4870 X2). I am happy with this as an replacement, I mostly play Steam Games and WoW. Works great on full graphics for all the games I have tried so far; the main two being Skyrim and WOW.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper solid card.

Pros: Reliability

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Over 90 days. Pushed this card to the limit of reliability. Up the clock to 1000 and the vddc to 1180 for max performance with TOTAL reliability! Leave the memory speed alone. UNBEATEN in value for dollar!

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely smooth, effortless full graphics.

Pros: Upon my last video card frying after two years, I popped this baby in (cost me around the same price) and it runs all the games I play at full graphics extremely smoothly. Best bang for my buck I've gotten with a video card. Very quiet, even with the case open. No problems whatsoever. Also the free 2 games from Radeon allowed me to pre-order Thief which I'm every excited for.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Worth the money, will renew my faith in Radeon if it stands the test of time.

4 out of 5 eggsBest purchase I have made.

Pros: Pros on this card well the temperature of it is probably the first thing i would like to talk about. 34-38 degrees Celsius while playing games like Arma 3 Day Z Battlefield 3 all running on Ultra with 45-90 fps.

Cons: The underclocking ability it does when conserving energy it kinda hiccups the GPU in a way just for 3-4 seconds not soething major at all but if im switchingg from day z to google theres a lag spike in the game for 3-4 seconds and i dont know if thats driver issue or not.

Other Thoughts: System specs-
CPU: i5 3570k
GPU: SAPPHIRE 100355L Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit
COOLER: Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2
SSD: Plextor PX-M2P 256GB
HDD: Hitachi 1TB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR3-1866 16GB
PSU: Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 550w
CASE: NZXT Phantom 820

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT GET AS STAND ALONE

Pros: -doesn't work no pros

Cons: Will not output video by itself. It in some cases can only work in CrossfireX as a second card.

Other Thoughts: Just don't buy this card from sapphire. They have forever lost me as a customer.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card but didn't last long

Pros: Excellent performance at $165.

Cons: The card unfortunately died after about a month.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card as an upgrade for my old Radeon HD 5770 which I'd purchased from Newegg 4 years ago for about the same price. The 7850 is an excellent performer at 1080p, but the card I got crashed the system while playing Skyrim twice, and then the computer stopped posting. Switched out the card with the old 5770, and it posted fine.

This is a great card, I think I just got a bad one. Newegg was very easy to deal with & allowed an RMA for a full refund (card will be off the market soon.)

5 out of 5 eggsLittle Beasty

Pros: 2GB of Ram for Hi Res Gaming.
OverClocks like a dream.
Keeps cool under pressure.
Looks slick while doing it.
Came with three free games.

Cons: Doesn't make muffins for me.

Other Thoughts: Only issue I've had with the card is crashing in BF4 when the core clock is set over 1000MHz. Normally, I have it set to 1050MHz and it powers through other games without issue. So I'm chalking that up to BF4's coding.
