W/ fan... pfft
- Pros: This graphics card came in quick, installed fine, made that new electronic crunch sound I slid it into it's slot. Runs what I need it to. Awesome on video, great for light to moderate gaming. Affordable PCI express card.
- Cons: It clearly says fan cooled in the specs, so does the other $49.99 Diamond. Mine is fan capable, but there is no fan. Why would they lie to me in such a way that requires me to buy an extra piece. It would of been cool and everything if it said "Fanless." Not the cards fault, just Newegg and Diamond, on their site advertising falsely.
- Other Thoughts: I really don't think it needs a fan, for what most people would use a cheap card for. However, unless you only have a CPU fan, I highly recommend at least adding a rear or side fan.
Good card
- Pros: easy to install and use
good software great for medi runs most med level games going strong for a year old never any problems s video works well if u want to watch movies on ur tv
- Cons: at the time i got it. it was a good deal because 2600 his cards was like 120 bucks.so with the 3850 priced at 66 bucks beforming at well as the 4850."I'd go that way"
- Other Thoughts: runs oblivion 30 fps if u turn the grass all the way off never got hot (played for 12 hr sessions)
Stealthy AND Smooth
- Pros: Smooth install into ASUS Mobo running 64-bit Vista OS, no driver conflicts or manufacturer website download required.
Whisper quite cooling fan, as advertised.
Slim fit.
- Cons: No the best HDCP on the market but for the price it is adequate.
Sudgest high-end gamers find an alternate route.
- Other Thoughts: I would categorize this card as a mid-market average gaming or media center system product. Best for 22" monitors or below. If you're looking for more frag in the 64bit market, this isn't for you.
