5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Alright, so I didn't have high expectations for this card at all simply because of the name and the price. I am a graphic designer / 3D artist and use some pretty demanding programs and this card handled them without so much as a hiccup. I ran Wallenstein, Operation Flashpoint, Batman Arkham Asylum and Fallout 3 without having to touch the settings and everything ran smooth. Couldn't ask for more when it comes to a card like this for such a cheap price. On another note, my 2 1/2 year old son dropped this on the floor when I first opened it up and it still runs like nothing ever happened.

Cons: It's pretty small and for a 1GB card it has a pretty small fan. Don't know how that's going to stand up to the heat.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Probably one of the best "budget" cards available. It has taken everything I've thrown at it with no problems. Sure it could run some games better, but for the price its hard to beat. I couldn't afford the 4850 when I bought this and after 8 months I really haven't found a solid reason to change up. I can't "max" out crysis, but I can play Crysis Warhead with decent detail and excellent framerates. I'm considering buying one more since the price has dropped some for Crossfire.

Cons: I didn't buy from the 'Egg and paid way too much.

Other Thoughts: At first I was unsure about the small heatsink / fan and basic reference design, but it performs very well, is very quiet, and no heat issues whatsoever.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems to be a good value card. Works fine once VPU issue corrected.

Cons: After initial install, VPU screen kept popping up 2-3 times a day for about a week, then after that just a black screen although I could still navigate the desktop and get responses to open programs. Still had problem after reseating the card and removing and reinstalling driver. Problem seemed to be resolved after installing the current driver from the AMD site.

1 out of 5 eggsBuyers be aware of Neweggs's misleading product images

Pros: The card by itself is OK, probably good value for your money.

Cons: My biggest complaint is that procust shown on the pictures is in fact different from what was received. On images it shows S-Video output, but the actual card came with HDMI. I understand to HDMI is superior over S-Video, but this was what I wanted, since I already had a cable, etc.
I contacted Newegg's customer service and it turns out that they can not garantee anything, simply offered me a refund, and referred me to the manufacture. This makes little sense, meaning that any product you buy can be different from the one shown.

5 out of 5 eggsstill going strong

Pros: After modifying my computer then going to a better computer this video is still going strong. Just to inform you that this card will impress and surprise you, I can play Crysis maximum edition on high with this video card. I have also edited with adobe photoshop cs4 and have used After effects as well and had no problems. If that's not impressive I don't know what is. This small card will handle the graphics.

Cons: Make sure that you update the drivers and know that when you do that you can only push the card so far. I only overheated the card because I was asking more than what the core clock speed can push. 600mhz no more but the memory speed you can overclock. After I figured that out everything was back to normal.

Other Thoughts: The card may not look as great as one of those $150 video cards but it's just as great. for the price and performance, this is the card you are looking for.

Intel quad core 2.4ghz
Patriot 8gb of ram
Vista 64bit
550 watt power supply
Ati Radeon HD4650
games played: Unreal Tournament 3, Crysis Max. Edition
Smooth running. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade

Pros: The video quality is great along with video play back. All of my colors seem to pop out. I upgraded from an ATI 1650 pro with a memory of 512mb. This was a great upgrade and was extremly easy to install. Gaming with this card looks a lot better than my old card and a lot smoother. I haven't played any video hungry games but I have played fall out 3 and command and conquer 3 tiberum wars and the settings were on high. The performance was impressive and I feel it was well worth my money. I use my computer to watch movies and the play back seem to have more detail. I feel it should get a best deal award for its performance.

Cons: None!!!

Other Thoughts: Update, update, update. Make sure you visit the manufactures website to update the drivers. The rest is gravy. If you like to play some "middle of the board" games and watch movies and create flyers on photoshop then this is the perfect video card for you. If you are a serious gamer and want the best of the best... well you wouldn't be looking here in the first place. As for the rest of us, this card will make us feel like we are running with the big boys.
