5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: This was my upgrade to my ATI x1900 xt. It was worth it.

What you want to know:
I maxed ALL the performance options for the card in CCC, I maxed ALL the graphic options in Crysis. Be it a frantic 10v1 gun fight or a leisurely stroll through the jungle, it runs perfect! No drop in frame rate or anything. Runs like a hot knife through butter. All at 1920x1080 resolution. Overclocked or not, it runs like this.

Works the same with Fallout 3, Oblivion, Call Of Duties, Left For Dead 2, Dead Rising etc. It will take anything you throw at it

When it comes to overclocking, its a breeze. From a core clock speed of 850mhz it goes to 950mhz like cake. From 1.2ghz memory clock speed to 1.7ghz just as easy. All while never going above 50C*

I did properly remove the stock thermal paste and put my Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound on it. So that might have helped.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: If you want an inexpensive card that can perform exceptionally, grab this one and save yourself some time

3 out of 5 eggsNot great with Vista

Pros: Good card for multiple displays at high resolutions.

Cons: Poor performance with Battlefield 2 - Bad Company at high resolution which you really need. As other reviewers have pointed out, does not over clock well with CCC and it does not have the exhaust cowling as shown in the Diamond provided photos.

Other Thoughts: It only supports 3 monitors if one uses the Mac display port which requires an adapter; a second HDMI port would have made more sense. Don't use any driver other than Diamond's with Vista or it WILL crash the system. In fact I don't recommend this card with Vista period.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - It can play most games at high (or even max) at pretty smooth framerates.
- Best $200 spent until...

Cons: ...372 days after, it coughed up it's last 74C temperature load (February 25, 2010 - March 3, 2011).

- 2 separate instances of the "Black Screen of Death". The first instance was when I had went out shopping a couple months ago and then came back and noticed that my monitor never went to "sleep". The second (as well as every succeeding occurrence), instance was during a nice gaming session of Dragon Age. At first, I thought it was the drivers but then I realized that I had been playing Dragon Age for about a week flawlessly with these drivers. So I fired up L4D2 and ended up getting a BSOD after about 10 minutes of gameplay.

Other Thoughts: My dad also tested this "50% functional" card and has experienced the BSOD when he tried running the WEI test! I now have a $200 HTPC card that's only good for web-browsing, watching Youtube videos, playing Internet games (i.e. Facebook apps), watching movies and TV shows. The reason why I didn't rate it a 1 or 2 was because it worked fine for a year. I bought this at my favorite retailer after I got a dud of an XFX card. Since I didn't register my video card at all, I wasn't eligible to even try and test out Diamond's customer service. My next video card whether it be a next-gen or a simple replacement will be from another brand (that may end up being a little more inexpensive). I'm currently using my brother's Radeon HD 4890 swapped from my dad's machine.

1 out of 5 eggsGood card so far bad service

Pros: Card works as advertised so far. Son able to play DX11 games and play most games on highest settings at a reasonable price on his PC.

Cons: Rebate is a waste of time. Sent info in and get an email back saying will not honor rebate as items are missing such as receipt. Everything was double checked as it was put in the envelope so nothing is missing. There is nobody to contact so what else can you do? 1 egg is for rebate scam. Why not just sell the card for the $149 then have customers go through this run around. So if you get this card don't plan on getting the rebate.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst card ever

Pros: This card works great for Win XP, IE 8. And video on the internet youtube etc.

Cons: Black screen, grey screen, tanish red screen after 30 min of play still has sound but no screen then computer freezes up after and have to reset computer or hard shut down, I ran the latest update from Diamond and it still doesnt work I may end up sending it to Radeon the manufacture and having them fix the issue but above all DO NOT BUY THIS CARD...

Other Thoughts: I am running an; AMD Phenom X4, 8 Gigs Sector 5 DDR3 2000MHZ memory, 2TB Sata Seagate internal, 500 watt power supply, ASUS Sata DVD/CD combo

5 out of 5 eggsOverclock the card

Pros: This card has been stable for me for about a year. I originally found its performance to be lacking. However, I overclocked the core to 1000mhz and memory to 1381. So now things run much better.

Cons: CCC is garbage. Needed to download MSI Afterburner to get proper overclocking options.

Other Thoughts: Call of duty black ops runs really smooth under max settings.

1 out of 5 eggsGood card. Horrible customer service.

Pros: Worked great for about 9 months. Stayed cool, was the best bang for your buck, at least 9 months ago.

Cons: Suddenly stopped working, passes BIOS but no video out. Wouldn't be so bad if Diamond didn't have the worst support in the entire world. Other reviews have gone over the problems, but I might as well repeat them. Live chat is a joke, since no one is ever online. Had a support ticket for a while but it hasn't even been looked at. Phoned in, put on hold for a long time before I just gave up. Buy this model, just not this brand. Go for a reputable company.
