AMD TrueAudio technology empowers game developers with a programmable audio pipeline on the GPU, inviting them to put their unique artistic fingerprint on in-game audio in the same way that the programmable graphics pipeline brought unfettered artistic vision to PC graphics. Enabled games can feature more realistic environmental dynamics, a richer tapestry of sound effects, breathtaking directional audio and more. AMD TrueAudio technology enhances audio realism by simulating the human brain’s perception of real-world sound, working in concert with the user’s existing audio hardware to recreate a lifelike experience.

1 out of 5 eggsConstantly Crashing

Pros: Stays cool

Cons: Constantly crashing under minimal load from media playback. Video card stops outputting and fans on video card go to 100%. Switching to video on motherboard works pointing to video card issue.

Pros: FAST
4gb GDDR5
Temps never go above 70c
HYNIX memory
low price

Cons: everyone's giving this card bad reviews

Other Thoughts: Purchased mine at tiger direct after they refunded me my $370 for my gtx 970 which kept black screening. at $300 this card is a far better pick especially since it outperforms my 970

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performance

Pros: The ver 2.0 of this card actually uses a non-reference PCB board, It has one more power phase comparing to other models, Leading to better stability and most likely will last longer as well. The stock cooler is also great, Keeping the loaded temperature under 70C at full load.

Cons: Sadly this card will not fit most R9 290X waterblocks because of the non-reference design.

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT buy

Pros: When it worked, It was okay.
The price you pay you can definitely get better quality.

Cons: Constantly shut off on me, after just a week. I filled out an RMA, took almost a month to complete with no one letting me know what was going on. No information on when it was delivered, what they were doing, etc.

They then sent me a DOWNGRADED version of the graphics card I PAYED for. Instead of the RADEON R9 290X, they sent the R9 290. The tech even had the nerve to tell me that it was the right card I just needed to install it and see what the clock speed was, when it CLEARLY stated R90 (Meaning they might have just overclocked it, which is WRONG in so many ways). I installed the card and STILL it was the incorrect clock speed ANYWAYS.

I just don't want to deal with a company that decides to downgrade your product when you spend HARD EARNED money on it, and then ARGUES with you about how it is the correct one when it clear isn't.

Poor product/ No customer service.
