3 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Works with most games on low settings but would prefer a higher end. Its cheap if you need something that can at least operate with HD quality.

Cons: When the drivers are installed I must warn you that it will lock up and freeze on Windows XP which requires a restart if the drivers are installed BUT it works flawlessly on Vista.

Other Thoughts: Could have made a fix for XP and maybe they should have made fans for this line of cards.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, quiet and inexpensive

Pros: NO FAN to fail. Very Well made by ASUS. Installed effortlessly. Booted at the start. Good speed, great resolution choices, 256 MB, reasonably fast and had a Rebate

Cons: Probably not the best card if you are a gamer, but perfect for photos, MS office, movies, dvds, non-intense gaming, etc.

Other Thoughts: Really a BARGAIN and I can't tell you how many fan failures I had on other video cards. Won't happen with this one!

4 out of 5 eggsGood card for my media center

Pros: Needed a quiet card for a media center. This one was small and has no cooling fan.

Cons: No HDMI port but there are cables for component video.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Installed in a Gateway Profile 6, for Vista Home Premium, downloaded software from web site, and voila - no problems. Excellent speed boost, and simple installation. Not super fast, but that's not what I was looking for. Crystal clear and no complaints...

Cons: Software was a little hard to find on web site, and too many "free" opportunities to download bloatware, but that's the way it goes

Other Thoughts: Great card for the price

5 out of 5 eggsnice card, no fan!

Pros: I've only had it installed for a few days but so far it's working perfectly. I was looking for a no-fan video card that would not get too hot. This is perfect!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The drivers seem good and very stable. I don't know if I'll ever use the Gamer OSD options but i guess they fall into the "nice to have" category.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Passive heatsink seems to do it's job quite well, decent price.

Cons: DVD playback gets flickering and lines in the display. This is resolved with the latest bios though. Make sure you get the right bios file it's listed as EAH2400PRO/HTP/256M.

5 out of 5 eggsYou can't go wrong.

Pros: You get a lot of power for such little money. Although I don't consider myself a power gamer, it will play games just fine. I wouldn't recommend maxxing it out in settings, but it can handle quite a bit in 1024x768. No fan means it's quiet, which is a plus. I can't find any fault in it. I didn't expect much after reading reviews, but it does an awesome job for what you get.

Cons: Drivers are a pain. The card loses "communication" every now and then and resets itself which locks up the PC for a minute. I've tried newer drivers and the error goes away but the wallpaper and icons get scrambled. I reverted back to the previous drivers as that was less annoying. I tried to upgrade the bios/firmware but the files from ASUS tell me they won't work on my card. I am sure at some point things will get straightened out. Disappointed that software to take advantage of the UVD was not included. I had to fork out $100 for more software to get it to play HD content.

Other Thoughts: EPOX Epox 9U1697 GLI | AMD Semperon 64 3000+ 1.8GHz (2.2 Ghz Overclocked) | Kingston HyperX PC-3700 512MB | Seagate ATA100 160GB + 300GB HD | Antec 300W PSU | 17-inch Sony | Windows XP Pro SP2. With this system I can't play HD content at all. It bogs so hard I can only reset the PC. With the proper software I can play HD content and it's very smooth. CPU resources drop from pegged at 100% to 75% on average.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for the money..

Pros: Supports DirectX 10
Dual DVI Outputs
No fans to make noise/die

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This card is a great workhorse card. I use it for CAD Design work on 2 19" DVI LCD Monitors. Text is clear, and will still allow me to play the occasional Quake 4 deathmatch.
