5 out of 5 eggsOrgas-mic

Pros: Fast!! When playing battlefield 2 @ high res there is no lagging at all. Dare I say this card is the sexiest card I've ever owned.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If your looking for a part that will complete your super computer add one of these

4 out of 5 eggsCard is very hot

Pros: Very fast card

Cons: Very high heat produced and requires lots of power to operate

Other Thoughts: wide profile. not for small cases or ones with little free slots. Heat will be higher if adjacent slots are filled.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Impressive gaming performance. Plays BF2 fluidly (60-90 fps) with all graphics setttings on max.

Cons: It is a huge video card and some smaller ATX cases will make for a tough fit.

Other Thoughts: I see newegg finally got the picture right. It's a large card and the picture finally shows it.

The gaming experiences have been wonderful with all the eye candy settings on max and still getting between 60-90 (sometimes over 100) frames per second. This card or better is a must for those serious about playing fast paced 1st person shooters (such as BF2) where enemies are hiding everywhere and often difficult to see in shaded spots or in long distances. With this card (or better), you unquestionably will see better and play better.

The card easily over-clocks to nearly 500 MHZ for the GPU and memory set to about 1.3 GHZ. Original settings gave a 3dmark score of 7600 but with the over clocking, my score rose to just over 8600I’ve played many hours on that setting with a GPU running at temperatures around 57C which is well within spec limits. A GPU to a frequency higher than 517 MHz results in instability so that appears to be the limit for my card. Sli is a must for future.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: awesome graphics! I build high end pc's as a hobby. My first card was soooo amazing I had to have a second one to complete my SLI rig

Cons: friggin two slots thick...(Thanks for correcting the pictures Newegg)The second one I ordered was dead out of the box, RMA'd it and the third one also dead out of the box ($60.00 to ship and insure two cards back to Newegg.) The fourth worked like a charm!!

Other Thoughts: I have a Gigabyte GA-8N-SLI Pro (LGA 775) nVIDIA nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition mobo, and it was VERY tight getting these two cards in!!. Thay are literally pressing against each other, but the fans spin freely and the second card was recognised right away

5 out of 5 eggsAsus EN7800GTX 256MB

Pros: Runs cool, gets excellent performance with high demanding games with stats set to high/max. Runs quiet, real quiet, hardly notice it's there. For the bang you get with your buck it's well worth the chunk of change.

Cons: Long and the box it comes in is HUUUGE!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This card is very powerful. In UT2k4 and Quake4 all my in game settings are maxed out, with antialiasing and antistropic filtering both at 4x. This card in an SLI configuration will power games at max settings for many years to come.

Cons: Bit spendy, but you get what you pay for. Also the temps seem a little high, 40c idle and 71c under load. The card came with an artic-cooler already installed, but to get temps 50c and under water-cooling or a heatpipe cooler may be required.

Other Thoughts: This card needs a lot of power, anything less than a high-end psu will run into problems. 24A on 12v for single card or 30A on 12v for SLI.

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better.

Pros: Card is working fine for now.

NEWEGG website and delivery service are OUTSTANDING.

Cons: VGA drivers included and VGA drivers downloaded from ASUS both cause Windows XP message "...(driver) has not passed "Windows Logo" testing to verify compatibilty with Windows XP." Windows advises not to install. I installed it anyway and keeping fingers crossed.

SmartDoctor does not show temp and fan speed controls and says this card may not have the monitor IC required for this.

Can't register my card with ASUS without providing my date of birth and gender. Not relevant for warranty.

Other Thoughts: Have always heard and read good things about ASUS. Did not expect the things mentioned above.

5 out of 5 eggsA little Surprise

Pros: Just a little heads up, if you are like me and bought this card as your 2nd videocard for SLI bear in mind that this card has a NV Silencer 5 factory installed on it. I see that Newegg had update the images. although the pic is just of the box and not the card itself but on the box you can see the NV5 sticker. Just bear in mind that some SLI mobo's wont support 2 videocards with the NV5 on them. You will need to find a board with the PCI-E 1x slots in between the 2 16x slots, 16x, 1x, 1x, 16x, not the NI8's configuration of 1x,16x,1x,16x that I am suffering through. May have to get myself a new mobo... questions questions...

Cons: Size, but if you want a good fast card that is reliable this is the one.

Other Thoughts: Nice of Asus to include a half a ben upgrade to an already good card for the same cost as the factory fan/heatsinks....
