Great Card!!

Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: This was a great card for physics... But WAY ahead of its time. This card was paired with my 7800 gts and really did well.

Cons: It offloaded to the GPU and was visible at points during gunfire of intense scenery.

Other Thoughts: This was a good card but if you looking for something that will blow you mind, try the 200 series nvidia cards. I have a evga 260 GTX w/896 mb ddr3 and it ROCKS!!! onboard physics is included with all 200 series cards!! I'm running it on a evga 780i SLiFTW mainboard with 4gb coarsair edominator dc-ddr2 1066mhz, intel q9450 2.66ghz quad core

Good Card

Pros: Does what it supposed to do. The card replicates the physics of ballistics and impacts as well as other physical interactions. It does this very well. Don't expect a dramatic change in graphics. It is not designed for this. I like the PCI-E x1 interface. I play UT3 and it does add detail to the weapons fire and explosions. GRAW and Rainbow Six Vegas2 work well with this card.

Cons: It is totally dependent on how much physics is programmed into the game. This card can also load the graphics card with additional info to process. It has made me realize that I need to upgrade to something substantially more advanced than the 8800 GS 320MB I now have.

Other Thoughts: There is a list of PhysX programmed games on Nvidia's website. Check those out before you buy this card.

Good for the price

Pros: use that blasted small slot on your motherboard for something more than usb port cards. gives usualy. five
FPS. not bad for the price if your hurtn for frame rates or looking to get the most of your rig

Cons: eats a power supply cable.. HOT.

Other Thoughts: did see improvements on mine ...dual 8800gts sli about 5 fps in world in conflict.. other games EH.. varys.. still worth it for the price.
